Macro for toggling player names?

Hey.
I'm looking to set up a macro (or better yet, find an addon that automates this) to toggle various parts of name tags based on the environment. I doubt that there's an actual addon for this, and I don't know if it's something a macro can change either, since my intense googling has come up empty.
The idea is to hide titles, guilds and so on while in a warband or orvr zone, and put them back on after I'm done all at once without having to use the user settings menu.

My best guess at this point is that it might be doable through some API call via /script, but I'm struggling to find any kind of guide or list on available method names and the like.

Any help would be appreciated!
