while the SWs stances are instant cast with a 5 sec CD and the WLs call pet is a 1 sec cast (which can be done while moving) with a 15 sec CD, the SHs, whos stances, as we all know, are represented in the type of Squig they are calling, have to expend 2 secs to call their pet which then has a 30 secs CD. wouldn't that qualify as somewhat imbalanced in comparison the above mentioned order careers?
granted, one could argue that the higher cast time could be excused by the fact that SHs mostly operate at range and don't have to close gaps as much as WLs need to or that the very long CD can be compensated easily by just calling another pet. but then again if as SH you lose your pet you not only lose out on dps you also lose your stance, at least the one you actually want to be in (picture a SW who is forced to use "Scout Stance" for a whole 30 sec when he/she actually needs "Skirmish Stance" right now).
what do you think?
SHs call pet/stance CT&CD imbalanced compared to SW & WL?

The longer cast time is to make up for the SH having 3 more pets to pull out. When the lions dead its gone. If you reduce the cast you would have to put all the pets on a single cd.

If your pet is about to die you can make it explode/eat it and the next one will be summoned instantly (for 10 seconds).

What Telen said, furthermore SW's stances are more comparable to Mara's ones.

I dont mind the cast time but would love a sh to be able to cast it on the move
defenetly when the pet goes wonky and decides to do its own thing and is out of range to eat/blow up.
Oh would be neat if blow up squig was a 2 sec stagger too but that is just my wish.

while this is true it doesn't change the fact that by calling another type of Squig one would also change the type of stance. tho i can agree that the longer cast time is indeed sufferable as the SH has the option to call another pet right away.Penril wrote:If your pet is about to die you can make it explode/eat it and the next one will be summoned instantly (for 10 seconds).

Stance swapping is more a sw/mara mechanic.
The closest thing SH have to stance is going into squig armor which is always available.
SW abilities are linked to the tree stance they are from. SH dont have that with their pets. They do from SA.
SH ranged pet are also likely to live longer than lions and if your on the wrong squig you can blow it up once the one you want is off cd and instant summon.

with the current nerfs into shs spiked squids hit points thats not always posible , u can pop most squig pets in 2 to 3 gcds as a single player, u cannot say the same about wl pets.Penril wrote:If your pet is about to die you can make it explode/eat it and the next one will be summoned instantly (for 10 seconds).
the issue is simple , spiked squigs has undergoo alot of nerfs , and it still the pet shs most need to perform his role as kiters or skirmishers . unless u tie the auto attack of spiked to another pets the issue for shs stand still.
solutions if u wanna keep spiked as a low hps squig , with low dmg output . atleast give them back their original range.

movement aa for shs is tied to a single pet and if i do recall run away from quick shootin is aswelltied to a pet, sh ranged pet got his range and hps guted u cannot compare it with a wl pet .Telen wrote:Stance swapping is more a sw/mara mechanic.
