[IB] Oathstone useless?

My main problem with running Oathstone is that it is too far up the tree to be worth taking as a Pug or in the usual suboptimized order wb that has too few tanks and heals to begin with. I go Stone up to Shield Mastery but after that its time to go to Brotherhood for earthshatter, heal-debuff, runic shield, or GnM, or to get Ancestor's Fury out of Vengeance tree. Sure there could a be niche use for it but for most builds at lower levels you should try to branch into brotherhood. At rr 60+ a build that goes up to Oathstone and also brings Runic Shield, Punishing Knock, and earthshatter would be a pretty good one to run as SnB.

Probably to many tools under one roof there though. You have access to all the good stuff at that point leading to a lack of variety in spec.

Stone is maybe the only mastery tree that is superb for PvE and poor everywhere else.

Its really good for pve though, you can main tank easily with it and Oathstone is maybe the major reason as to why.
