Hey guys! I'm pretty glad to have stumbled upon this server. For quite some time, WAR was a bit of a "guilty pleasure" of mine, that MMO that I would play even knowing that all my MMO-playing friends would constantly talk about what a piece of garbage it was. I'm just absolutely in love with the setting and the RvR.

So here I come, planning to play a Dwarf Slayer. I'm actually looking to roleplay, but the search function hasn't helped me much in figuring out if there is much to be had. So, Order people, I speak to you! Is there RP to be found more or less consistently? Mind, roleplay is one of the main things I do in my spare time in MMOs.

I have the exact same "problem" with my friends. They are all like "But WAR is crap. WoW is better etc."

And I'm like "Did you ever experience endgame sieges? Did you ever hold the line in a citadel on the stairs? Did you even play the game? lol"

I absolutely love the feel this game has, as well. It's true that the engine is a bit glitchy or whatever, but it's DWARFED (Pun intended) by the awesome feel this game gives you!

the most fun I ever had in a game was in WAR. After a Pre-City Castle Siege. My guild was on there own instance and we HELD IT. I remember after the war was over and there where thounds of bodys everywhere. Just like in a real war. Hanging off the sides of walls and just bleeding mush everywhere. It was one of my proudest monents in gaming and I wish I still had my screen shot of us all mounted on horse back ontop of nothing but Distro Bodies. What a great day it was. Then I tried to tank the king and got one shotted. It was the first time our guild made it in the city and it was like the third month the game was out. These are the day I long for again and I am sorry to say there is NOTHING in wow that will ever compare to that feeling I had being the winner over so many.
