There are plenty of screen shots there, including the original letter where Torq says Azarael was preyed upon because of "mental and autistic state." The whole thing is basically a "haha, nice try bro" slap in the face.

I can understand you not wanting to bring Azarael back because he betrayed the staff, but Torq betrayed the community and the integrity of project, which is even worse. So how can that be forgiven? Limiting communication and ez-mode spawn xyz item is far from a "punishment"
I wouldn't be surprised if Torq is threatening to release the source code if you remove him from the staff.

Cutting communication between the staff and community is also a bad move. Their interaction with the community has always helped us (the community) gain a better understanding as to why they made the changes they made. The problem has always been that certain a staff member met every criticism made, or opinion stated by the community was met with a swift perma-ban and some bs rude response.

It wasn't until azarael returned that the broken WL specs were finally looked into and weren't met with a "l2p" -BANNED! response.

Perm forum bans were given for excessive trolling and disrespect behaviour as final step on a long list of warnings and temp bans. Ask yourself how a forum member can collect such punishments and then complain about a perma ban afterwards. Especially when the same behaviour is shown in the ban appeal threads.
Not talking about ingame bans, because their reasoning is hardly public.

Hello Yaliskah,

I would like to thank you for your effort and willingness for change. I do not have much to add what some of the posters above already have said. I only have one wish, not even game related because I think what you and the team have achieved is great. My wish is that you make this forum and the game welcoming again.

Please make it a place where the community feels appreciated, where they can discuss topics around the server and forum with the team without the constant fear of getting banned for anything the usual suspects don´t like for some reason.

And please change "Respect the staff" to "Let´s respect each other" because the absence of the latter drove me away from this project.

I would imagine a different outcome regarding what has been happening, something looks off to me, but anyway, I stick to just play the game and make a video once in a while to keep Media of RoR alive.

If you ever need an active GM for Roleplay, PvE and PvP events, count me in, Im willing to do that, break a lil bit the routine of War just for fun times. Used to be a Rol GM in World of Warcraft private server myself, so I know what I'm talking about and what can be done.

Not entirely true, things got particularly out of hand when discussing the mega-oped WL Guardian spec and the disrupt changes. Bans were handed out frequently as were warning for anyone that brought up the issue.

If AZARAEL is really the amazing coder you need. Forgive him for his misstep. Bring him back with another name, don't tell the community, dont let him interact with the community, and he can only interact with the project manager.

If he is really committed to the RoR project, he will code what the Project Manager tells him and that's it. You will still get work done without the opinion of the worker, let him this be his punishment.

Thanks again for the amazing work and continue to bring us this great Warhammer game.

P.S. You don't really need to like a coder, his ideals, background or be his friend, you just need what he codes.

Thank you Yali for your post - greatest respect for you and your team. I believe you will be able to recruit some talented new staff to help achieve your vision.

My feeling out of your new structure is that within the community section there should be a component for contributions to the project by the community. By this I mean both in game content such as the player tips (please implement!), and also outside the game such as fan art, new music, fiction and guild communities. Provide a structure (and I don't mean so much the tech) to support and encourage community contributions. This might be allocation of staff to encourage and coordinate these efforts so that creative efforts by the community may be fostered.
