General consensus is that a spammable AOE snare would be too strong, so will be asking people to give thoughts on: a) Firestorm without CD, but with snare component removed; b) Firestorm with CD, and snare component intact (so current version).

Guardian changes from Torque were removed.
Oh that's good.
I knew you guys were going to reverted but wasn't sure if it would be to that version.

Option A.
Doubt you'd get any push back

Hargrim wrote: Tue Sep 18, 2018 10:51 am I see that after 5 years some people doesn't really get the part that all changes are WIP and patch of the week is not the final state of the game until the end of the world.

What I try to say is try to ask questions instead of accusing people working on changes of destroying this or that. Changes here are done in incremental way and not as big patches every 6 months.
Thats fair. And I am really glad and hopeful for PeterthePan3 and Dan to come out and say they will look at getting White Lion back in warbands, because it was fun to have the kittens along side side us.
After the changes to Brightwizard & Maruder Moral2 direct damage, it seemed like it had happend because of the topic regarding if Brightwizard was overshadowing other Order aoe dps-roles. And Mara simply having too much utility + burst M2.

Now we are back in a situation where Order dont have ANY contender to the Brightwizard aoe-damagedealing role, just without the moral drop. And marauder's utility is unmatches on Order side. How is this outcome better for anyone, those who were complaining about the Brightwizards will most likely see even more of them, and Order warbands will have no tools apart from raw damage to fight the Destro warbands who now have an upperhand in pretty much every category apart from damage.

The population between the two realms have been close to even the last few months, swinging between 45 - 65 to 49 - 51 in T4. These changes are not helping keep the ballancing between the two realms when Destro already had a slight lead in numbers and overall locks more zones.

So an overall question regarding balancing and the future, in what direction are we headed? Underperforming classes/specs being brought up to par, or always nerfing the topgun?

Would prefer option A. I think one of the bad things about 100% uptime on Firestorm was that you could prevent rams from moving
to door, though that seems fixed now. Would also be nice to get Firestorm back to Havoc so not everybody can spec for Firestorm and Caustic. Should be some benefits from being rr 70+. While it should in theory be an increase in Firestorm dps by changing its damage to spirit, it really isn't. Old firestorm hit harder.

They said in this thread, that they plan to make them WB viable.

Chinesehero freaks me out. That guy is always naked. Though it helps with identifying a wonderful target.

Reading class changes in this patch, and devs/mods posts in this thread, while I wouldn't necessarily say it in the past, great work devs- RoR does seems to be going in the right direction.

I dont think reverting the wl changes was a good idea, least i have my mobility back but in what form will need to test on my next play session. Seriously though all this back and forth is getting a bit annoying.
