Engineer grenadier mid high 50s most the way. No Magus experience. Mostly war band experience but enough 6x6 and scenario experience. Comments below apply in all situations.

Pros to suggested change. Makes it something to consider but still not close to being worth a slot. Don’t think I would ever use over instant redeploy.

Cons AP cost not biggest concern from this tree. Cooldowns are a concern and staying alive as most tanks will guard a MDS not an engy (imho good engy can impact back line RDPS AND healers and is worth guard or shield tanks hold the line.). Don’t like removal of gun turret which still necessary as all engineers probably switch situationally.

Suggestions

If it reduced some or all tree cooldowns in addition to redeploy cooldowns it may be worthwhile.

Magus high tactic slots offer tree specific crit or toughness. That would also make it worthwhile.

If it worked with throwing arm to extend ranges for tree when using flame turret that would help. Right now almost instant melt/death without the disrupt/dodge boosts from flame turret
primary IB 8X, EN8X, WP7X, SL7X, KOTBS6X, and a bunch of under rr60 toons on order and destro with other classes.

After careful consideration based off the feedback given to us by the community, we have decided to go back to the drawing board with our proposal. All feedback has been gathered and examined meticulously, which has resulted in our decision to not implement the proposed changes.

It is likely that a discussion will be opened up sometime in the future pertaining to Grenadier & Changing, and we will welcome your feedback and suggestions there.

We thank you for your involvement.
