I lost 4% crit chance on my melee dd but I accept that set mixing had a too high advantage to full sets. Now I have to decide between less main stats or less crit.
Dying is no option.

Op is right to some degree but the nerfing of sets was needed because of poor planing in the past however once again its 1 step forward 2 steps back instead of the other way around.
I mean why is there even a need for another pvp set right now ? the only reason i can think of is to give some sort of false hype and keep players interested.

This server doesnt need new gear with tiny stat increase to keep players happy, look at when the server was pop locked and with a que to get in, not to mention weird stats on new gear and in some cases trading def stats on conq for heal output on new pvp set which is never going to be helpful.

It is never going to be easy to please players, infact near impossible but there are ways to do things that limit the outcry from the players.

The whole Q&A bs was suppose to have been a wakeup call so to speak for the staff here but it seems once the dust settled its back to the old ways of poorly thought out changes where what the players and server needs is not important with staff back to posting sarcastic comments adding more salt to the wound, this isnt the way to gain trust from the community it has the opposite affect.
When i ask friends to come play for few hours who have been here for years and played on mythics servers and they reply with no thanks i dont want to show any support for the game there is still a problem.

Imo what this shows is again a lack of structure, knowledge and a plan going forward, the same concerns that have been raised for a good while now.

It hurts to log on and have your character be weaker, but if it's part of a long term plan for the game, I can roll with it.

I guess the big question is if this is going to be the way future sets are going to be handled. Are the old BiS items going to be nerfed each time new sets are added? Or was is this a one time thing.

Either way, it's nice to have something to work toward again. Just enjoy the ride!

Like anyone here is required your trust.
Also speak for yourself only about leaving the game.
Changes is too minor for speech like this.

Future sets will be using the same set of formulas so we A) don't build sets based on how they feel instead of data, B) don't follow the same itemization curve as Mythic live sets, and C) so people who create the sets are held accountable to a standard. If I find things that don't line up, then I'll change them. Hopefully this doesn't happen frequently, but it's a big messy game with a lot of moving parts, and things do happen.

Man, this just looks like complaining for the sake of hearing yourself complain... Gear was slightly nerfed across the board, which in the end means you aren't any less powerful than anyone else because they were nerfed too. All this really makes me think is that after the change you lost some fights to someone or some group that was lower level than you, and you are trying to use the nerf to justify why you lost.

So please, show us on this snotling where the lowbies hurt you...

Some things were nerfed relative to the adjustment, Beastlord and Rare Fortune in particular took a hit with BL dropped the furthest. If you relied on a combination of those two, you might notice it more legitimately than other relative changes.

Considering I detest PVE, especially in a game in which it was an afterthought, I'll hold off until oRvR sets arrive. I do not mind the small squish of previous sets.

It'll be great to come back and make progress again!

The thing is, if they were that overpowered before, then your opponents should have recognized that and also would have been using those set pieces - and in turn they were nerfed along with you. So I stand by my initial argument, even though you might feel less powerful, you are still at the same power level compared to everyone else before the nerf. It's all just a great big zero sum game - no one wins and no one loses.

Edit: edited for clarity.
