I like how order tanks are three of the lowest five careers.

sm and kotbs don't really do anything compared to chaos counterparts and the order melee train is so non existant for a few reasons, chief of which order superstar melee, the WL, is broke as hell

ib is small. enemies ignore you, which is bad as tank, and whilst parties are broken in scs, i've found you get far far less heals as a dawrf running through everybodys legs than as an orc wading through everybody cause, quite simply, your healers can't see you

of course all of this only matters in the alpha t1 state game is in now where people are just smacking each other around in the same areas. all goes out the window when t2 rvr makes organized roaming groups a thing and kotbs start getting their useful tank abilities

still nobody will care about sm though

till then just roll a BW/SW or healer and nuke destro from range like everybody does. or if you got balls of steel you can go slayer

I didn't expect anything else. Chosen got optical preferences which results that he is the #1 because people just want to look awesome and badass, no matter what. Shamen/AM is the best soloing class atm so its obvious that they got #2

And don't wonder about the order tanks, as I said once before, the order got very unattractive tanks including style and appearance. They just look weak. People feel stronger when they play a bigass massive ork or an awesome stylish chosen. An in or sm and sadly a kotbs just looks small and weak besides a destro tank. That's the reason we got tons of dps but no roflmeleetrain.
I play mainly a slayer and can tell you that's a damn pain in the ass when you got no guard with atleast 1 heal behind you. Its just nonsence to play light mdps so better roll a healer or boring tank

Well all those "tanks" are busy playing SW, AM and BW I'd guess
A reasonable RvR system that could make the majority happy http://imgur.com/HL6cgl7

It's pretty hard to play a class that needs two other players to protect/heal him so that he can has fun, while they just waste their time. 8-)

kotbs have no presence compared to chosen so not surprised at that, chosen are twice the size and draw a lot more attention which is what you want as tank. kotbs hit like wet noodle and just kinda flap around in t1 scs whilst everyone ignores them
what!?! dude no Kotbs are freaking amazing in t1 people like razid and me walk out of sc's doing like 13-18k damage based on how long the sc was

2 interrupts, a x3 stacable dot, strong survivability with shield rush and a a 25% armor ignore lets you hit pretty dam hard when paired with demolishing strike

and this is all without the thorns aura factored in

i really am confused just like razid as to why there are not more kotbs as we see them all the time

because ppl see that order has no tanks, tries kotbs for a few days then rerolls

i applaud anybody who plays it and tries to make it work cause order desperately needs tanks, i'm just pointing out why nobody really does

IB can do a ton more dmg than that whilst still having decent cc, chosen can outdmg just with RAVAGE RAVAGE RAVAGE and BO can consistently top the dmg table by just constantly cycling his aoe

kotbs is fun for similair reasons to bg, most of their abilities are actually worth using, but, when you're a 1 man melee train cause you're on order and, whilst you rack up decent dmg with dots, you're not burning anybody down, just kinda picking at them, it's kinda dull

Just because a def cares about SM doesnt mean the whole community is doing it too ;)
