6v6 Tier 4 TOURNAMENT!

Hey all!

I have since I started with Warhammer online been in love with small scale pvp. I love theory crafting builds and team compositions with friends and then putting them to the test in 6v6 fights.
For this reason, I have decided to start up a tournament and get more people involved in 6v6 fights.
Take time off running with the order and destro blob and get 5 of your friends together and test your skills!

My hope is to get a few teams together and truly showcase the fun (and adrenaline-fueled) action of small scale pvp. Hence this will of course also be streamed on twitch by multiple streamers who will be participating and also by myself who will be on the sidelines commentating.

THERE WILL BE LIMITED SPOTS FOR THE TOURNAMENT IN ORDER TO KEEP THE WHOLE THING WITHIN REASONABLE TIME!
There will be an equal number of order & destro teams.
The aim is to have between 8 and 10 teams in total. Should more teams sign up then there might be a format change to accomidate this.

Now some might feel starting up and doing 6v6 can be daunting fear not! Should a team feel the need for some help up to the event then coaching regarding playstyle/specs/comps can be arranged! This whole event is arranged for everyone to have fun and hopefully learn some new aspects of the game and their characters!

I am also always available for questions should you have any!

How to join


State what side you wish to join on ORDER or DESTRO
Name your team!
A team roster can consist of 9 players. This means 3 substitutions can be made between games as you see fit.
List all 8 CHARACTERS you will be playing with. Not players but CHARACTERS. You will be locked to play this. NO CHARACTER SWAPS CAN BE MADE. However, you are allowed to change spec if you so chose.
A player is only allowed on ONE team.
CUT OFF DATE TO JOIN WILL BE 24 HOURS BEFORE EVENT START ( I am going to need some time to get everything ready before the event to track all the teams)

The tournament, of course, is not without its rules.

The Rules

9 man roster, only 6 play at a time.

ALL CLASSES/SPEC WELCOME

All pots/gear can be used

Start the fight with /bow to the opponent to show you are ready

use emote /cower to "reset" the match, Should this happen the winning side gets +5 kills to their score

Should a crash happen during a match a pause will be issued. Force crashing will lead to forfeit of the match

ONLY KILLS MATTER. Kills are your score. A match score will be defined as Kills/Deaths

All teams to be ready at the set time and ready to fight when name called.

IF YOU ARE 5MIN LATE YOU WILL BE PENALIZED 1 DEATH! IF 10min LATE YOU WILL FORFEIT THE GAME

YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO RELEASE UNLESS FULL WIPE. Once a team falls back to a certain point it is considered a wipe
and the positions will reset to start.

The format


Time limit will be set to 10min.
The games will be held in a PVP zone. This will be outside of the Maw, the Chaos fort in Tier 4

Each team plays each other once.

A win gives 3pts
A draw gives 1pts

The team with most points on order and destro goes to finals.

If multiple teams have the same Kill/Death ratio will determine the finalist.

The finals will be a Bo3 final.

Prizes

Although I set this up for people to have fun I figured I would put some of my hard earned gold into the tournament! So there will be two prizes for the event!

The winning team will receive 480g and of course bragging rights until the next tournament!
And a special prize of 200g will be given to the team with the most interesting (but viable) composition.

Rounds were determined 100% random.

Should the last team show up then the destro team who are sitting out in the respective rounds will play against them.

The fights will be held outside of the Maw (Chaos fort). Plenty of room there.

We have a few sign ups already but still got plenty of room for more! So sign up by either posting here your team or send me a PM if you rather hide your comp before saturday. I will post all the teams Friday after the deadline
