Hello all,
Just recently got back into the game and I am loving it so far and I have always wanted to get more knowledge of the game not just through the lore of playing the game and reading the lore in the ToK but I wanted to start buying the novels based on this era.
With many to choose from can you guys advise me on which books to start off with. Now I know everyone has their favorite picks on where to start but I want the whole story from the beginning. Doesn't matter whether its hardback or softcover. I just think there is a lot of lore I am missing plus I want to connect in way with in game characters that I couldn't before by just playing the game. Any feedback would be appreciated.
Thank you

Re: Warhammer Graphic Novels
Well there are plenty to choose from, and you can find a huge list of them here. My personal recommendation would be to start with the Gotrek & Felix series, as they move about all over the Warhammer world and each book showcases different aspects, races and characters therein. From there you could move on the the Ulrika the Vampire or Thanquol trilogies, both are characters from the Gotrek & Felix series. Other nice starting sets include The Malus Darkblade (Dark Elves) or the Grudgebearer (Dwarfs) books.
There's tons to read on just about any part of the world you want to know about, it just depends on how far down the rabbit hole you want to go. A word of warning though, if you do get heavily into some of the series I recommend shopping around and not just buying the first copy you find on Amazon as some there are priced insanely high. You can usually find more reasonably priced copies on places like Abebooks.

Awesome thank you Skullgrin. This is all I needed was a starting point.
Good day now!

Re: Warhammer Graphic Novels
Get a rulebook for tabletop, but for pre-Age of Sigmar fantasy, since that's what this game is based on.
Re: Warhammer Graphic Novels
Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay will give you every bit of information you need, along with Warhemmer fantasy Battle, the Realm of Chaos books and, if you can find them, the army books will give you all the details you need concerning the races and classes in the game.
