I am not an artist myself but a big fun of Warhammer Fantasy Battles universe for almost two decades already. No offense but usually most weapons in Warhammer have more or less practical features and stick to race specific rules. The bow seems funny but disfunctional to me. Mushrooms on the bow? They will fly off after the first shot and usually grow on a rotten wood. What is the purpose of those metal pieces on it? The whole idea of a bow is to flex. Attaching metal plates to it makes it heavy and stiff. This is not a bow anymore. They should have been at least directed the way you can use them in the melee. Spider web in the corner... For how many shots will it stay? And what is it intended to show? This bow was rotting somewhere in a swamp?
High Elf shield is just totally wrong. Sorry but this is the fact. It doesn't resemble any HE designs from any Army Book edition. It breaks every single rule about HE armor. I never saw anything remotely close to that. This is rather Korean MMORPG style weapon using Warhammer Online textures. Dwarfs don't use rectangular shields. They are impractical in the tunnels. They never place spikes on them neither. Their hallmark is round shield with runes on it. The very reason Warhammer Universe is so loved by fans for more than quarter a century is because it's based on certain race specific rules. Weapon and armor design is amongst them.
In my humble opinion anything added to the game should align with the lore and/or TT. At lest be based on it. The minute designs like these introduced to the game this will not be Warhammer anymore.

I have to agree with ppl bothering but take my word with salt all these things feel like WoW made.

It would be better if you check other stuff in game before introducea a new one and loook for image of the stuff you wanna do first then copy a bit plus modify what you want.

This is basically how warhammer background, lore and aesthetic has been managed in ages bit by bit to not jump into a wrong long perspecitve directin or rappresentation.

Total original concept came from a long experience with pre existing models and their esthetic rules.

So you are not bad and certain the better done stuff of all are the squig bow and the chosen axe (possessed weaponry is not that impossible tought uncommon ) but there is room for improvement. Also when it cames to normal sword etc a good way is also look at war 40k for some models (aka deamon stuff are much like the same and can be moved to chosen , mara, magus, zealt here).

Nahhhhh lotta concern and complaints over absolutely nothing. Theyre getting melodramatic but don't let that stop new and creative stuff from appearing ingame. Anybody who doesn't like it can thankfully slap an alternative appearance on that piece if they must

Just to defend the bow. That bow wont work, normally, but when Greenskins come together and their mental energies build the Waaagh!!! It will.
The IB shield is more Lizardmen than Dwarf though.

About the bow: in game there are bow wich are a lot more weird and unpracticable, this one seems quite practicable compared to them

It's a fantasy mmorpg after all, who the f cares if the weapons are "realistic" or "would work/function" in RL? 😅

Looking forward to see more "weird" new weapons and stuff, the WH universe has still a lot to offer 😁

Ian Livingstone and Steve Jackson?
The style of Warhammer is pretty well defined. It isnt wow or some Asian bollocks. Its a 1970s punk/glam/metal inspired world of football hooligans, miners and Tories based on the writings of the English writer and musician Michael Moorcock. Its about as British as you could get without having cups of tea and custard creams. Being British and one of my first jobs being in a Games Workshop I just feel the style is something unique.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Warhammer doesn't have a specific style, which is one of the things I love about it. 😉
But "complaining" that a bow with a web in it's corners or metal-plating on it, isn't functional is a bit absurd imo 😋
