It does miff me somewhat that I have to implement the lingering aura system when Twister allows you to automate your class mechanic...

I dont like it either, that it works that easy with twister, but why should i break my fingers when theres something like this addon around... but that sounds like you want to program it like 3 auras permanently up at once without having to automate it anways. tbh i wouldnt even mind that :D

Yeah, I remember Nalgol made a topic about the same thing when he was working on Chosen, and I honestly agree with him on it. The fact is that Twister exists, it removes the skill of having to manually manage auras (a common theme with overly powerful addons in general, imo) and it's not going away any time soon.

Well, technically that's not true; I could break Twister from the server side by sending incorrect info about an aura's caster to the clients while tracking it correctly on the server.

I believe one of my first posts here on the forums somewhere contained the message: remove all addons that are not of 'cosmetic' help. like State of Realm, Queuequeuer Zmailmod or whatever along those lines.
I dont want stuff like Twister or Nerfedbuttons at all, but for chosen/kotbs its just idiotic to not use twister at all

I mastered switching between 3 different auras while managing to still fight then I found out that there is an addon for that but its not the breaking the fingers part thats annoying its remembering to press the correct key on time for the next aura and twister made it sooooooo easy but I wouldnt mind if it was removed

I copied the wrong settings directory, so my character window was messed up.

For a RvR tracker like on the picture (without YakUI) you need to copy the directories
- EA_ZoneControlWindow
- EA_RvRTracker
from YakUI_1_4.zip\YakUI 1.4\user\settings\YakUI\YakUI to your characters user settings folder.
Luth, how were you able to get it to use the YakUI stuff without YakUI? - I have had these folders in my \user\settings\Martyrs Square\<char name>\ folder for a while, but I'm not seeing the numerical component ont he Zone Control Tracker window indicating absolute values

Since the project is about restoring WAR, this may be a bit futile to discuss.
But what about making it so there is no lingering? Ie. only one aura active at one time?
