The classes are not supposed to be exact mirrors of each other, they weren't in Dark Age of Camelot, or Warhammer online.

They are similar yes, but not the same, nor should they be, it is the little things that are different, that adds to them being different, and to the fun of playing them.

While I am very much against direct mirrors for Warhammer, if we are to follow this logic of a powerful utility/cc tool being spread out realmwide on both sides. Then Where on earth is the AOE knockdown on Order side?! :o

I 100% agree with you, and I was an advocate of giving Order such a tool (on one of its criminally underused WB classes) quite a while ago.
Peter please lay off the Mara as the justification for why no Destro character warrants any improvements. My running joke with the guild members is we don’t need any other people in the war band because, according to Peter my Mara can take out whole war bands (exaggerating but you get my point) You know that the way trees are there is no perfect Mara. Oh and as far as that under utilized character, just what a white lion needs with the individual cc he has. So what do you suggest this character sacrifices to get this skill. The Mara forced to choose high in the monst tree to get the AoE skills with little left for ST debuffs and skills. Oh, it does not appear to effect the popularity of lions based on the number I see in the lakes.

When have I ever said that a Marauder can 'take out warbands'? I mean if you wanna strawman tf outta my comments, that's your prerogative, I guess. What I have actually said is that Marauder is a top, top MDPS - for both WB and group play.

Popularity of class doesn't negate from potency of class: there aren't many melee SWs out in the lakes, but noone would argue against them being meta classes in smallscale, would they? It's a very weak argument.

Also: I've never said that no Destro class warrants improvement, as some of them clearly do. Hyperbole much?

Did you miss the admitted exaggerating part and what you should have said the Mara is either OR a good WB, build or decent small group but not nearly as good as wl in small group.

Marauder offers much more to a small group than a WL: again, you kill the WL pet, and he has nothing to offer - no KD, no Pull, no ranged snare. Anyone disputing the fact that Marauder is the better MDPS overall is disingenuous, and only looks at burst DPS at the expense of everything else.

The fact that there are like 1 or 2 competent Marauders playing rn is a sad sight.
