I'd say jewel and helm or gloves too if you want the wounds bonus.

If you wanna run inv on Mara you absolutely needs the ring.
You can mix 3 inv pieces ( with the ring ) for wounds/ste bonus.
Gloves/shoulders/helm for a have good stats.

But for the jewel you first need all other invader parts.
