True true. I dont really fear it will be too bad in the open, as abilities such a challenge in a blob on blob clash will be affecting alot of targets assuming it will also have the increased 24man cap, as aoe damage will. So it will somewhat put a little bit of a dampener on the output.
Only abilities i can think of that has a built-in limmitation is Magus Rift of 6 players, and Shattered Limbs locked at max 5sec. As some of the core utility tools. But maybe specing into Matyrs blessing will actually be worth it now haha

Funnels will be the dealbreaker on this, is my prediction. But then again should we be able to take keeps with close to even numbers and no greater than 20-40% eu primetime aao, lets see im pretty open for this change.

people complain about zerg, then they try to do some testing to dissuade the zerg.... and people complain. You guys have a thankless job. Lets see how this works. Too bad the AoE cap couldn't work based on population in the area.

small note, I just excluded aoe cap increase for solar flare as that would be even more dangerous.

There must be something behind... what lead you to make the 24 aoe cap there?
I am curios how it will work. But sometimes I dont understand some changes. For example, you nerfed mSH but now it will deal more aoe dmg. More target will be affected, more dmg. I dont want to see how hard will be healing now. But BW and engies/mauses could farm their RP now. Happy siege time for everyone.
Scenarios. You spend lot of time doing changes like domination or this "vote" system, but lootbags as a reward for scenarios is too complicated. I dont complain, just saying. Scenario lootbags system could be more interesting for many players than surrender vote option. I think.

reasoning for aoe cap test is in the notes. Also it was originally not part of the game and was added with the reasoning that blobs can instantly annihilate smaller foes with AOE. However, the same goes for the blob.
