Got Rhaped by an Archmage.

Just had an order Archmage Take on a fully decked Black Orc and a semi decked Magus and Marauder.
By semi decked i mean +10 rings, and bloody/deci sets. rank 10+ renown and rank 12.

The Archmage we got it down to 20% health and then it fully healed and finished destroying us. It was not kiting us it was smashing us head on.

It was ridiculous, i know one of the dots it put on me did 200dmg every second for 10 seconds, that hurt. That was just one of its dots.

Can anyone explain to me what happened? how can an Archmage have such amazing heals and high dmg. I wish my magus was half of what that was. ive gone against people with +14 rings and bloody/deci sets and ive never been at such a disadvantage.

it was just insane. I need an explanation.

Healers are op in t1 plain and simple as that, their are no silences, ap cost increases and abilities of that nature in the game yet and the only 2 heal debuffs in the game for destro atm are both melee based ircc and are there for ineffective/inefficient because melee hit reg is broken/bugged atm only way to kill lvl 12 healers atm is to focus them with 4-6 people but then you can kill any one with 4-6 people

i get hit for 60-100 range by am dots and im geared in similar ways so i dont know how they can hit for 200, maybe they crited?

Perhaps they were healed by another healer? considering that ordo playerbase class distribution is almost nothing but RDPS and healers that is not impossible to occur.

The shaman/zealot resistance buff gives you +15% damage reduction against resistance damage.

It was only the one order, no one else around. It was pretty insane, when it took down the Black Orc i was just like OMG were screwed.

All i know is i had a Zealot and it was terrible, Little Orc Shamans out healed me, the Dark Elves out healed me, i hated it. I think i will try a Dark Elf healer, see what thats like.

Ive just never seen an Archmage that amazing before . . . . ive never seen any class do what that one did.

Is there a boost between renown? i am only renown 11, does having 20 give you a boost or something?

Same goes for me yesterday but with diferent class...so we where at elf lair 3 slayer full geared and +12 str jewels 1 ib and 1 slayer full geared but without +12 jewels an we fight against a dok who manage t kill 2 full geard slayers in 5v1 batlle

Some must be really bad and no, sham and dok are no better healers than zealots in t1. You did it wrong.

I got 3 years expirience in slayer class and didnt get rekt so hard in the past
