What's the community like?

I have recently sigbed up but havent had the chance to download and play the game yet I was a previous player. As in RvR is it a long waiting time for a match? and do you see many people wandering around in game

ofc rvr is quite frequent but it depends on player population times on average we usually have between 100-180 people online and 200 or a bit more during rvr events , scs pop quite frequently ( only nordwatch and GoE atm ) as well; but once again it depends on player pop at the time but be warned that scs are not really "balanced" that well atm, after you play a few you will understand what i mean

There are three types of PvP.

1. Open RvR
2. Scenarios
3. Lairs

1. In open RvR are fights during the prime time or on open RvR events , then there could be 80-200 people.

2. Scenarios pop all the time. During the prime time there are always two scenarios at the same time opened.

3. When a lair boss is up there are always funny and great fights for the kill. Fun too.

It always depends where you are. When you are in the farm spots or in the RvR warcamps you see many people around.

Yesterday there were more people in a warcamp then I ever saw on a Mythic live server.

A lot of people are from Europe. I'd say the community is 50/50 (NA and EU)

There are a lot of players from all around the world, Russian, EU, NA

Its a very international server

I EU nights are better playing than NA nights.

Big thing to remember is we are a small population so most play both sides (Order and Destro). Many will change sides to help the SCs balance and keep the fighting going so everyone has a good time and no one is zerged into the ground. Pretty much all the players I have met are nice, the Devs and people running War are really great folks ... you should be very happy here. Oh and it is Alpha so be forgiving as sometimes the game is cranky.

Welcome to the server ostrogoth, it's quite decent here. I'd suggest finding yourself a guild to start and keep a close eye on the forums for large scale events planned by the community and staff. You'll notice a few folks here and there in the questing areas but mainly in the starting zone. Other than that there's plenty of souls to help and kill in ORvR and the scenario ques. Populations per-side seem to fluctuate but are fairly even overall it seems. Good luck man.

I've meet players from Australia, NA, EU, Russia, Brazil & Taiwan. These are the ones that usually are seen if you ask many of them out there.

Welcome! There is pretty much constant fighting and sc's. Order and Destro are pretty friendly and most people (including myself) give away gear to nubs whenever we have it. Server is based in the EU but player base comes from everywhere.
