[SWORDMASTER] New to SwordMaster need some advices

so im new to Swordmaster, and i need some advices if possible
i read some articles and posts and have some questions

so my questions are
1- what talismans do i need to put on my gear
2- is genesis set part of the final gear?
3 what renown i should invest

if the build above is not ideal i would like some insights , tx a lot for your help to a begginer

1-Wounds/Toughness most likely
2-yes 2 or 3 pieces of everlasting (no cape or shard) along invader/sov jewel
3-full block - parry - futile strike (3 should be fine) - dodge/disrupt

sorry to "hi-jack" the thread, but i would also like to ask any other SM if the skill "crashing waves", the knockdown in perfect balance, is bugged? tooltip says it does X amount of damage and when i use it, nothing happens except the knockdown

I'm getting damage divided between 2 strikes, but it's much lower than what the tooltip says even on crits so idk what's wrong with it.

Well the damage is adjusted by mitigation.

Yeah, ofc but I was also testing it on the dummies and it does way less than it should, or scales very weirdly.

i have seen it reported on bugtracker already since mid june/july, cant recall now. basically got told that the tooltip of every skill in the game can be inaccurate and not have matching numbers.
dunno if it wiill get a fix
