There is my contribution. And below is my Explanation.

Chosens and Knights are pretty staple in any 6man group, on demand KD and Punts are pretty valuable as well as free stats/debufs. Chosen can morale pump if he brings a shield. Knights have a lot of interrupts as well as Vigilance making them a hard target to choose to focus and drop successfully. Chosen will probably be damage superior in this category but damage isn't what rules out victories in 6v6 or tanking in general.

BO's/SM's Bring great assistive damage but lose out on that punting (unless SM brings a shield, but then its not on demand and this can be tricky. BO can morale pump if he brings a shield.) These tanks can also bring champs challenge instead of punting so they don't lose too much utility. Waaagh and Whispering Winds can be great in a given comp as well but require a different spec path, but should still be mentioned.

IB and BG bring some decent debuffs and buffs as well as the on demand KB and KD, but you gotta charge up the hate/grudge mechanic so there is a little bit of lag time. They have some nice assistive damage as well and both can double armor debuff (M1 and Horrific Wound and Stonebreaker) AOE crit debuff on BG, and AOE slow on both the mirrors make them very useful for the overall slow down of a fast paced game mode.

Tanking can be the most difficult thing to grasp for the smooth brain population of players but a good tank who does what he needs to and knows what to do when he needs to do it can be very impressive and useful, even if its a chosen and knight which lack any mechanic prowess of their class but have to abide by the tanking methodologies. Punting tanks who are guarding targets or setting up kills for your dps to just tear through doesn't really click when the average person "tanks". Usually someone sees the word tank and things, "Ah yes I will live forever and sit on this healer applying pressure with my snb dps. "

Mainly speaking on smol man 6 versus 6 mentality. Warband play is a bit different and most of my points probably don't hold up in court if I was specifically talking about that environment.
