Something just occurred to me.

In the movie Soylent Green, a 1973 film depicting a post-apocalyptic nightmarish over-populated dystopian society controlled by massive corporate entities wielding the true power behind government both of whom prey upon the general populace and that populace is kept within the confines of their cities by law, the setting year is 2022.
