Witch Hunter killed me in PVE

If you are tagged for PvP, yes. At least as long it's in an area that is "legally" accessible for both realms.

As I said originally, we weren't flagged PVP. The video goes back 20 minutes, there is no blue chat message saying we are flagged. I'm wondering if the area is bugged? It's the area right above Bad Moon Hole.

I would recommend to check the area. Make sure to be not flagged and enter the area. It's possible due to being above an rvr zone, that you are also "in" rvr up there. Z-axis are strange in RoR

Ok so is this correct? A person is in PVE. A witch in PVE flags for PVP, then goes stealth. The witch then gets near enough to the person doing AOE PVE (like Mara) and that person then unknowingly flags themselves for PVP. The witch then waits for an opportune time and attacks.

Went back and did some testing with this. Made sure I was unflagged, in PVE area and found a flagged enemy. When I AOE'd near the enemy, he took damage and I became flagged. So (with regards to AOE damage) it makes no difference what you are flagged. What matters is what the enemy is flagged as he can force you into PVP, if he is flagged, or resist all your damage if he isn't flagged. I'm surprised this has never happened to me before as it's a great way to grief people farming in PVE. How long has it been this way?
