Launcher starts but no client update and grey out login- web server red/login server yellow problem.

So i just downloaded the game again, from the direct download link.

I have done almost everything from the install FAQ, admin permissions, uncheck read only, turned off AV and firewall........and im at loss, nothing works. the launcher always says WEB server red color/Login server Yellow color.


Any ideas of whats causing this problem? i had no problems playing the game some years ago. Is my country blocked now or something? im from portugal btw.

I have noticed some problems similar to mine on the forum, but no real fix for it, i even tried VPN, and no luck =/

Hey,

Are you logged in an university network or similar? Have you tried a Smartphone Hotspot?
Do you have other games installed? Sometimes their anti cheat software is doing things.
Or are you running any performance/maleware programs?

Nope im logged in from home, i got some other games installed but nothing that has any invasive anti cheat, i dont have any problems with other online games.

It just seems that something is blocking the launcher from connecting the server, i cheked the launcher.log and it seems like thats the problem:

already tried everything...nothing works, the launcher simply refuses to start the patching process and the web server/login server light remains the same.It looks There is something blocking the connection between the launcher and the server and it cant get the necessary info/files to start the patching process and i have no idea whats doing it.

Anyway thanks for the help. I guess no ROR for me, not now anyway , im going to try it on another PC soon.

It does load but i only see garbled text on that link like this:

Same issue here. Web Server red, Login Server yellow. XML is accessible through browser.

I'm havin same issue here. Tried the steps recommended in the launcher-FAQ, and downloaded game again; still launcher says Webserver down.. Help would be aprecciated as i'm running out of ideas

Any other ideas? Still doesnt work. Firewall disabled, using VPN etc., nothing works.
