Only possible if you are carried by geared 40's. Else you outlevel stuff too quickDonCarlos wrote: ↑Sat Oct 22, 2022 9:22 am One should also consider taking the Mid-Tier Vainglorious Set (level 27) https://wiki.returnofreckoning.com/Epic ... el_1_-_40).
It is a very, very long quest chain that is best done in a group together with a level 40 char to not get too much experience in the course.
The complete guide to gearing pre level 40.

This is so convoluted for t1. Lol maxing influence in t1 is a complete waste of time.
The best accessories in t2 do not come from the renown vendors.

As mentioned in the opening the guide covers gearing through scenarios mostly once out of T1. So I didn't bother checking out the orvr rewards. Some rewards are also useless since they take set item slots.
I've posted some Pve options from PQs which are commonly done but the Vainglorious is a massive waste of time for the investment you have to put into it.

T1 inf gives you some slots you can't cover until later (unless you get items from AH but that means you need money aka not necessarily a new player).eerytraveler wrote: ↑Sat Oct 22, 2022 9:21 pm This is so convoluted for t1. Lol maxing influence in t1 is a complete waste of time.

The midtier accessories you probably talk about are 35+ so you're stuck with the vendor until then.

Hey,
I want to add a thing for all people who are reaching LEVEL 9
If you don't own your own set of SHOULDERS and HELM, you can get them here:
- Order -
- Destruction -

Nah, the level 21-27 chapter accessories are far better than any of the renown stuff. And they're the only way to softcap in t2.wanna993 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 22, 2022 10:00 pmT1 inf gives you some slots you can't cover until later (unless you get items from AH but that means you need money aka not necessarily a new player).eerytraveler wrote: ↑Sat Oct 22, 2022 9:21 pm This is so convoluted for t1. Chapter influence? Ain’t nobody got time for that. PvP plus vendor stuff, with the odd tier inf piece (which requires no separate effort) until Ruin/Beastlord/Genesis is the most straightforward and perfectly sufficient path.

There's actual accessories (and crappy green armor) you can buy from chapter merchants if you're not poor. And it's better than the cheap renown jewelry. It's also the only way you're going to keep your mainstat capped. Or you can hunt the AH for blue and purple versions of the same items. Either way renown jewelry is only really the best option for healers.dtjror wrote: ↑Sat Oct 29, 2022 11:28 pmChapter influence? Ain’t nobody got time for that.
