[Marauder] Petition to make GI (Growing Instability) tactic baseline

Please. This way us aoe marauder can invest in savagery tree and pick up Exhaustive strikes and Cutting Claw without sacrificing damage. All our utility and damage is based on crits. WL has loner and crit options as baseline. They can be aoe and and still pick Force Oppurtunity because they are in the same tree. We still have to stance-dance. I think this would be a fair change.

Edit: Deeply Impaled tactic can be placed in Brutality Tree instead.

If WL is in AOE spec then aren't they running Loner which means they can't use Pack Synergy for the crit damage increase as they have no pet?

Didn't mean that Loner and Pack Synergy could stack. They are both baseline tactics. AKA you don't have to spend mastery points to get them.

Pretty sure WL run loner in AOE. It would be nice to move the tactic to baseline just to break up the stale meta of the Mara, it's a must have for any spec basically. Possibly just lower it in the tree.

The difference in mechanics, playstyle and abilites of marauder are way to big to just say "gimme that, because he has it" ... otherwise I'm pretty sure there is a big wishlist of marauder things a lion could find usefull, maybe there shut be some negotiations for a trade.

I would add that Mara has Piercing Bites base line while WL need to invest 9 masteries for it, also PB affects 16 abilites, while Hack & Slask from WL affect 3. So there are tradeoffs everywhere.

As a Marauder main I can't agree with the proposal at all. Infact, it is the WL that needs a buff, since pet seemingly is impossible to fix and in a lot of places in certain scenarios it can get pretty frustrating, and therefore the tactics for crit damage and 'Revenge' should be somehow unified into one, perhaps with a slight nerf of 'Revenge' effect component (compensation for ruined nerve cells).
Marauder, however, needs a bit of buffs, namely armor pen tactic to be made to also affect auto attacks at ~35% of effectiveness, which should bring the class a bit closer to the AoR times, yet not overtuning it. And ofcourse 'Mutated Aggressor' buff to be not triggering GCD like Shadow Warrior has it.
