The pop it seems has been destruction heavy for some time now, there is constant red zergs going on even during lower pop hours and the blue AAO is likewise constanly on.

Which is why i find it amusing when certain destruction posters claim certain order classes to be ''OP'', in reality the should check first what's available in their own faction before pointing fingers.

At primetime is fluctuation. Yesterday order side were sieging 2 zones at same time that they both locked so your personal feelings didnt translate to 24/7.
And since when zerg show anything about class balance. Bigger zerg means more ppl are on certain side. Which for myself is aesthetic related so i stick with side that looks better for me

At primetime is fluctuation. Yesterday order side were sieging 2 zones at same time that they both locked so your personal feelings didnt translate to 24/7.
And since when zerg show anything about class balance. Bigger zerg means more ppl are on certain side. Which for myself is aesthetic related so i stick with side that looks better for me

You nailed the critical difference between order and destro. Order is blobbing only in response to destro blobs and is willing to split through multiple zones. Order blobs pursue the objectives and will try to siege as soon as possible.

Destro blobs always and never splits. Even if there are just 3.5 order players in the zone, destro from the whole server will coagulate into a massive blob, stomping out any lake activity. They will do anything but siege - run boxes as wb, chase solo players with full wb's, camp wc, run the whole horde across the map just to kill a small group on the other side of the map. Destros will murder any activity in the lake. Hours later, when orvr and small scale are long dead thanks to them, they will finally siege. And of course, they will make sure to corpse jump and /laugh the 3 vs 60 order defenders in the keep.

If alone or outnumbered → run like a chicken.

It was way past primetime ( IIRC 2-3 AM EU/server ) and only after all the destro zergers went to bed, before that destro had the upper hand throughout the day just like all the previous days, blue AAO in the 20-80's has been the norm. for at least one month.

It is however true that this tend to shift from time to time.

Players generally do not swarm to the ''weaker'' side, on the contrary. I personally think Destro has the better classes from a versatility and ''fun'' point of view which is why there a zillion of Chosen's sticking to their mains way past rr 80, but not many Order tanks do that outside of their organized guilds/wb duties or those x-realming.
