Error, game launches but no character creation

I have an issue where when I run the RoRLauncher, this error pops up:
Data.myp:
System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80070424): The specified service does not exist as an installed service. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070424)
at System.Runtime.InteropServices.Marshal.ThrowExceptionForHRInternal(Int32 errorCode, IntPtr errorInfo)
at System.Management.ManagementScope.InitializeGuts(Object o)
at System.Management.ManagementScope.Initialize()
at System.Management.ManagementObjectSearcher.Initialize()
at System.Management.ManagementObjectSearcher.Get()
at MYPHandler.MYPHandler..ctor(String filename, del_FileTableEventHandler eventHandler_FileTable, del_FileEventHandler eventHandler_Extraction, HashDictionary hashDic)
at RoRLauncher.Client.UpdateWarData()

After the error pops up, it still launches the game but there is no character creation button. Looks like this:

Try replacing your files with these 2. It fixed this issue for one person.

First thing's first, try (re)installing NET framework & installing C++ redistributable.

My data.myp was set to read only, I unchecked it and that worked, so try that.
