Let me get this right:
You wanted WL and SH pet to be removed due to lore reasons you basically found without proper research and just projected your views onto.
Then you get proven wrong and instead of owning up to it you just go "whatever I don't care, remove them anyway". On top of that your initial post says nothing regarding gameplay or balance in any capacity yet after being shown that you're wrong you change your stance and now it's about the gameplay rather than lore. Very strange.

Not only would both WL and SH lack a class mechanic and become incredibly boring and bland but a good part of their abilities/tactics would have to be reworked entirely.
How exactly do you expect this to happen, what exactly is your vision/idea? Remove pets and leave everything the way it is? Rework everything from scratch and add a new class mechanic? Did you even put ANY thought into this complaint before posting it? Because quite clearly not a lot of research went into it.

The main argument to remove pets is that the engine could never handle them properly. This is the fault of Mythic/EA not RoR devs of course. I would say unfinished game that needed more development time and Pets are clear proof of this.

For example the SH pet is a mess, but it also shoots through line of sight giving unfair advantages. The white lion pet despite shaman players complaining about it, has always been a mess, the AI and bugs , illogical pathing, how it interacts with objects and so on is a mess which will lead to losses. Not because of player mistake or server lag, just the engine which can't handle the pets correctly.

Look at the zone, Thunder mountains, still game-breaking bugs persists in that zone specifically, i have been unable to use Pets in TM for all these years. That's not exactly a minor issues when half a class and its mechanic is not useable in the most active T4 zone of Dwarfs vs. Greenskins,

I would in fact not be against the removal of pets if it was done correctly, classes would need to be re-thought from scratch, obviously the white lion does not have a developed toolbox nor a class mechanic without the pet.

Another thing is how it would impact the nostalgia and identity of the game, without these pets, since they have always been a part of it.

P.S.. A final note, i think the better solution would be to shift the power from pets into the character toon, let pets be more passive in their role and less active in terms of the damage and utility that they have. But not in the sense of ''loner tactic'' which to be honest is and always have been a very lazy and none fun ''solution'' to the issue of pets.

I would increase their survivability dramatically to the point of surviving large scale rvr battles just fine, but otherwise be more like passive stats/tactics that follow the player around, without the need to rely upon them to do parts of the damage/ utility. It is not an elegant solution, but it would at least be better from a functionality point of view.

I wasn't gonna say anything BC why engage in discussions but since it was noted before...

Yeah he just said "whatever I don't care" despite it being his entire point, but he made another error, he claimed very few are risen up.

Bro you can field armies of chariots pulled by lions I literally copy pasted the link to buy the unit from eBay. If you have 6 lions you aren't gonna make them go to war you'll run out. It's completely baseless, against the existing evidence and it reads like a whimsical "But I don't admit you're right entirely".

So anyways you got ganked by a WL pet apparently and came to complain.

Well I got pulled by a marauder through a wall sooooooooo should I make a post for marauders to be removed from the game because it isn't lorefuk for a marauder to launch a purple beam that brings me to him like Vader's force pull...?
