Man my 2 cents, if you encounter the real gangstas outside you will be smashed hard with this, or just prove i'm wrong if not.
against WE you can swap focus offence with toughness tactic. 15% more dmg make a big differance with shining blade combo with channel can kill dummy in 30 sec gota go left tree and middle. You would suprise right now Shield knight is the only one that can go offencive shield because of shinning blade and channel combo with high crit. I dont have alot of parry but decent block you gonna melt magus and all magic/heals with that build you can alwas swap Focus offence when fighting melee. Teamed up with my friend ruxbin (2h ib) months ago and we killed a **** load of people back to back ganking us 3-4man. High block guard mitigate and he had the outgoing heal debuff. Nasty duo. Cant really trash the build if you never tried it. that 20 sec dot dmg from 3 aura +30% armor pen is nasty plus the crit dot tactic plus you can can their abilitiy and give initiative debuff. Right now shield knight offencive got all the tools they made it possible to go glass cannon.

But sure man if you wanna play safe go for your attrition build but they can still escape around 30% heal when they see your at full health or just avoid you the next fight they see you. That's the problem going defencive they just gonna run away or just avoid you.

Yeah you're right i can't trash the build without testing it, and i might give it a try for sure, it sounds interesting.

But the thing is maybe it's your job part to prove that build is viable inside the endgame solo scene, it is YOUR build, what do you think about that ?

You know we are talking about solo builds, and you telling that it was working well when teamed up with a friend.

That's sound quite alarming and makes me think that you haven't really had the opportunity to test this build in real conditions, with a bis gear, against bis geared solo monsters who know what they're doing.

Earlier i checked your stats bcause i was curious, and you don't have much solo kills and i don't see the toughest cookies on the list.
Don't get me wrong, it doesnt mean your build is bad, it just means you don't have enough perspective to draw any conclusions.

But again, prove i'm wrong and run big solo pov, record and show the stuff,

I would be very happy to see that a crit build is viable. Sincerely. i can't wait for this.
dude i made a video about solo 2h wp naked roaming video lol. I play build that are fun and people dont expect them if i wanted to be meta would just play a White lion or AM. And yes the build works in 1v1 since you got block and the dots stack together try it on the dummy. full crit with 5% crit liniment. staggering impact last 22 seconds, 10 second dot dmg from biting blade, shield rush for that block and parry buff with tactic. and burst everytime it's out of cooldown shining blade + channel not the exact numbers but shining blade proc for the next 5 seconds soo channel in 3 seconds hits 6 times plus if you can taunt before shining blade that a 30% increase dmg. what i like is taunt knockdown shining blade and channel. I do more dmg on my oppressor knight shield than my bis 2h ib lol plus imagine all that dmg that proc dot,proc shining blade plus channel with a 15% more dmg from focus offence. plus having high crit that channel proc alot of crit dmg. Man it is very strong. Less safe but people dont expect it in rvr. i have not played since months man ror too long to get any decent fights and alwas fighting the same people is boring. gota play 2hours for 1 fight that aint a blob i dont have any time lately probably gonna play again when the dps patch is out.

Hey Scrubs, great video, glad you are sharing. I still see ya in the lakes occasionally hope all is well. Funny though, that some here are trash talking and asking for proof when you posted vid and you fight solo all the time lmao.

Good video.

Some good comments as well. Only knowledge I can share from years of soloing across toons is:

1. Some builds just don't work and you're better off with another character. Example is a defensive Choppa. I got wrapped up in trying to make a good one (have a few decent builds) but in the end the playstyle I was searching for was a Mara. The DPS patch will change this of course.

2. The Killboard is a good source of truth as evidence. Like you said, the ok roamers are well known at this point and a good place to start (example current Slayers: Wildheart, Khu, and Daewars' slayer, ASW: Boop, that sort of thing).

3. The target dummy is actually a good place to optimize speed/rotation. For example, I can kill it in ~24 seconds on Chosen 2h (no focused offense), ~18 seconds on Choppa, and ~25 on mDok. To shave off a few seconds is important, so you don't get interrupted in the lakes. I ended up cutting out some abilities as these would add 5+ seconds to TTK. This translated well into the lakes. Anything over 25 seconds and you're going to get interrupted.

4. Crit is still king. I learned that it's better to go either 30%+ or focus on Arm Pen / Wep Skill. 15-25% crit chance did not have any statistical improvement over 6% crit vs most of my encounters. Assuming everyone is -10-0% chance to be crit and build towards that.

5. You're build has to work while you're Knocked Down. Meaning, if you ignore incoming crit chance and focus on block may not be a good idea. Destro doesn't have a ranged KD so more of a problem for Destro roamers.

6. Health Pots. After years I still stink at this because I dueled for years with no pots, and my instinct is to win without using them. Simply starting an encounter with a heal over time pot provided a significant win improvement.
