DPS focused Black Orc vs Chosen

This is a question for the wise and/or those with experience. Between the offensively oriented Black Orc or offensively oriented Chosen: which is more fun? I look for your fun-ness metric.

(This is not concerned with standard DPS)

Cheers

The fun is relative if you mean going solo and having chance to kill other solo players or 2vs1 chosen is the man

BO will hit you like a truck under ''You Wot'' and with the right tactics, it's 2H burst should be noticable higher than a Chosen. Chosen has better itemization(Magic dps) and more sustain if 1vs1 is your thing.

I am positive a BO should be more funt to play ( big crits are fun). A 2H Chosen is imho less fun than 2H kotbs ( and they're comprable since mirror class).

BO very weak when it comes to medium and high armor defense, low parry after WS nerf.

Only if you fall for the siren song of the +15% crit damage bonus on Painboss.

A mix of Wl/Vic gives plenty of parry with the parry tactic and parry buff. Should be 50%+ base even without the parry buff up. Hell, BO can get 80%+ parry if we're in Best Plan and running Quit Yer Squablinn'.

WL/Vic mix also gives more than enough armour penetration to deal with medium and heavy armour. Especially when combined with Twilight/LV rings.

With the WS buff up, I have 62% armour pen on my 6WL/3Vic BO with 190+ damage bonus. That, combined with our armour debuff, is more than enough to deal decent assist damage to even heavy armour classes. *EDIT* Forgot about demolishing strike for another 1056 armour debuff if you really want to go all in.

You used to have both High crit rate/Crit dmg and High Armour penetration with WS just with the Gear and the base game, you didnt have to choose which one to stack:E Also there was counters to higher dmg, for example set bonuses like IB had 7pc Warlord " Guard dmg reduced by 30% " Making dmg from guard only 20% Instead of 50%<3

You had jewel set for everyone that " 25% of being hit chance to remove 50 morale from the attacker "
