Healer SC Queues

Just have DoK, WP, Shaman, AM, Zealot, RP take the role of a healer in SC queues, doesn't matter if they queue as DPS.

I've seen a bunch use this system so that the other team won't have a healer in response to them. A bunch of them queue as DPS and are cleaning scenarios because the other team doesn't have a healer.

had this happen a few times as well: one team had no healer, other team had a zealot who showed as dps zealot in scenario screen, but who put out great healing numbers. probably used the zealot dps/heal toggle.

Are you sure that it is intentional? I have queued as DPS because I happened to be carrying people through Sewers or some such thing, when I only heal in PvP.

Maybe removing the trainer would help.

Going as heal at queue and change inside as dps is problem for the person that do it cos that is almost certain loss so there is no purpose to do that

The real problem imo is for rp/zl. When there is some live event which crappy kills lower npc tasks i switch gear, ta tics and mechanic to dps to speed the process but when enter scen going back to default heal gear, tactics, ect. So it happens healers disbalance 5healers on my side vs 4 on enemy (which imo hurts my side) or for example 3 on my side vs 2 on enemy (which hurts them)

If you have played multiple heals and builds you come to the conclusion that hybrids aren’t always tagged correctly by the system. An example would be lifetap am/shmy

I can easily top heals while being marked as dps. As mentioned a dps RP/Zele mechanic switch and can effortless flip flop btw heal or dps

But they can use it to abuse the system so enemy gets one healer less. And I've seen them do it.

Several times i've seen specific DoK's queue up and get in as DPS only to have a chalice and do nothing but heal. They are doing it because they will get a 90%+ winrate as they limit having to face off against other healers. I get what they are going for, but just make it so when they queue its a healer queue so the other team doesn't get screwed over by the people that want to abuse the system.

You can change from dps spec to healer in the scenario trainer as healer? Interesting, I never even tried that cause you couldn't do that in solo ranked back in the days so I thought it would be the same. Though I can't exactly remember how it was done in the end after they allowed doks to respec in ranked, cause shield healers used the minus heal% tactics and were healers so locking those on/off don't do much for those even if it worked for the other ones, maybe the offhand was restricted as well or something, some1 might remember. Or I'm imagining things and they removed the restrictions all together at some point.

Also now after the healer rework shield healers don't use divine fury anymore so seems a pretty simple fix for all healers, if you have any -heal% tactics on when you enter, lock them and vice versa if you don't can't switch to them in scenario. Yea they can still put on heal gear and respec mastery, but still not a full healer at least.

I love how the goalposts have moved from months ago "stop making scs where one side has zero healers" to "one healer less".

As if the zero balance of trash players playing DPS and Tank classes has no impact on scs.
