I think the 20/20 regen weapons do not exist anymore. However, there is a pot that gives extra 20 regen and 10% less crit DMG. And there is a special talisman with I think +72 regen as well.
Witchelfs tend to not only go into regen and Armor but also reduced crit damage. The reason for this is the abso tactic. They want to be crited but want as little DMG as possible from the crit. If the crit DMG is smaller than the 600 abso = they get more abso from a crit than DMG. That's why it's so broken. That's why you lose out with DMG crit builds against them. Also @Kingschultz pls explain us Ur tactics. I guess you have parry tactic and no crit DMG tactic. Do you use Bal anyways or are you just torment into burn the heretic ? Also is riposte tactic a thing for you?

Re: WH Guide v3
I think we should also have a more critical discussion about the trash tactics and bad changes. The new tactic that makes bullets proc on incendiary shot... Is trash tier: 0/10 on the MDPV scale.
Next the weird tactic that gives 1 extra accusation on silence. 0/10
Virolitic Judgment: better than you give it credit for. A lot of people rely on M1 for their defence and it can prevent them from ever getting it together with dragon gun you can insta remove 350 morale lol. Don't know if it works aoe with DG. 6/10
The weird stealth speed and regen tactic is also garbage. But hey speed buf so 2/10.
I would like to see a cool full confession build but at the moment crit is not at good stat gain at WE and the DMG is normal, so extremely mitigated by Armor. Also just procs on parry which doesn't work on ranged. 2/10

Re: WH Guide v3
If you open with Incendiary Shot and use Blessed Ammo than your damage from bullets will be 40-50% up. Roughly 700 damage per encounter, good tactic.
Re: WH Guide v3
Good read, I party with a few WH's and we often have our own quirks in playing the class.
One thing that strikes me is you can often tell a main WH from an alt with play style, mostly in not getting caught and knowing the sneaky places!
My advice is this, 1. have fun! The class will get you kills, I'm fairly average and 50-100 kills over a few hours is doable. 2. You will die. Accept that and point 1 improves.
Always happy to party with other WH's.

Re: WH Guide v3
Blessed Ammo is sleeper good and core to the new def WH build to max spirit damage as you get the spirit dot + spirit proc. Makes me think the devs have a pretty deep understanding of theorycrafting.
If you add up Fervor, Burn Heretic, Incendiary Shot, Blessed Ammo and Sudden Accusation, you're getting close to WE Witchbrew numbers in magic damage. Add in Flowing Accusation Abso spam, that's pretty powerful. You won't see big crits, but that's not how def specs work, WE does lots of hits for 100-300 and so does WH in that setup.
The thing about def WE is 99% of players could never conceive of it, having 0% crit, 850 str and doing a ton of tickle damage feels alien to most players. That's why only a few people are trying def WH build, just like a few people initially pioneered def WE (Hyguckma / Witchrage etc) - but I suspect you'll see from YT vids on it soon
Def WH does struggle with gap closing more than WE though.

Re: WH Guide v3
Absolutely agree with you here. I tested it in many different ways and everything you say is right. The only thing I think which will differ with def WH vs def WE is that def WH needs some crit to secure some burst against kiters and healers. Going too deep in parry def is very good against melees but you also need to counter shamans and squigs, hence need some crit. Last build I test has plenty of spirit damage, 50% parry and 30% crit and I believe this is a good balancing spot.nat3s wrote: Mon Jun 08, 2026 5:17 pm Blessed Ammo is sleeper good and core to the new def WH build to max spirit damage as you get the spirit dot + spirit proc. Re: WH Guide v3
ok I do have the gist of hjow WE do their regen build last I had played. The hardest part is getting all the regen gear like the chest piece and jewelry.nat3s wrote: Mon Jun 08, 2026 11:18 am A couple of corrections:
* Witchbrew does require strength, it didn't maybe 6-9 months back, but that was changed
* Flowing Accusations build with 1-2 accusation abso spam is actually more healing than WE kiss regen, roughly double. The bigger diff in effectiveness was WE doing more spell-based damage, much like SM vs BO. However post Incendiary Shot there are now def WH regen builds out there on a par with WE. They're just not being publicised yet for obvious reasons, it took a good year for def WE to be leaked. You could probably figure it out, very similar to def WE e.g. 2.8k-3k armour, 400 tough, 40% parry, Flowing Accusations, Sanctified Bullets, TB+pocket for 43% crit damage reduction etc.
If Exit Wound lost its stat reduction and the baseline damage was made Spirit-based as compensation, then def WH would be in great shape.
LAst I played I tried to solo the chest dropper but he was too hard to finish him off
Anyhow-- I habet layed in about 1.5 years, but WoW is at its boring part and Im itching to return
Based on all those abilities to listed jsut now-- i take it on majorng in confession?

This is the tactic you put your spare lv 70 point into and hot swap to it while traversing in stealth.Slowbro wrote: Mon Jun 08, 2026 11:50 am I think we should also have a more critical discussion about the trash tactics and bad changes.
