Precise keep derank / degradation mechanics for addon development

Hi everyone,

I’m currently working on a small addon to track keep progression and estimate when a keep may start losing progress due to lack of supplies.

Before asking, I checked the wiki, old patch notes, and a few forum threads, but I still cannot find a precise and current explanation of how the system works. The information I found is useful, but either incomplete :(

From what I understand so far:
* Supplies are the main factor used to maintain keep progression.
* BOs matter, but losing all BOs does not seem to cause an instant reset.
* Supplies spawn roughly every 40 seconds around controlled BOs, depending on involved guilds in zone.
* Older patch notes mention derank timers, supply decay, minimum BO requirements, and values that could be adjusted server-side.
* Some sources mention that the derank only happens if the realm has less than 1 BO and has not returned supplies “recently”, but I cannot find what “recently” means in precise seconds or minutes.

The part I still need to understand for addon purposes is the exact current logic.

Does anyone know the current rules for the following?

1. How long can a keep go without a supply delivery before it starts losing progress?
2. Is there a fixed timer, or is it checked only on periodic server ticks?
3. Does delivering a supply box fully reset that timer?
4. Do BOs only affect supply generation, or do they also directly prevent/trigger derank checks?

I am asking because the logs I am collecting directly from the game are still inconclusive. I can detect some changes, but the behavior does not seem consistent enough to build a reliable timer without knowing the actual rules.

The goal is create and addon to display useful information in the State of Realm window, such as time since last detected supply delivery, current BO control state, and possibly an estimated risk/timer for keep degradation.

Any precise information, developer clarification, testing results, or addon-related hints would be appreciated.

Update, but still asking for help :D

We have analysed over 2,000 delivered supply events and more than 100 real keep progress decay events on the last days.

From the data gathered so far, the decay seems to work roughly like this:

* A delivered supply appears to reset the keep decay state/timer.
* A keep does not seem to decay while it has enough active BOs to generate supplies. This means 2 BO active for 0-2 stars keep, 3 BO for 3 Stars and 4 BOs for 4 Stars.
* When the keep does not have enough active BOs, it enters a decay-risk/candidate state.
* There seems to be a minimum safe time depending on keep rank/stars, but after that the exact decay moment may depend on an internal server check or additional hidden logic.

Approximate minimum times observed so far:
0 stars: around 6:45
1 star : around 5:00
2 stars: around 4:10
3 stars: insufficient data, possibly around 3:40
4 - 5 stars: No data at this momment

What we are trying to confirm is:

1. Does a delivered supply fully reset the keep decay timer/state?
2. Do enough active BOs pause/cancel the decay risk?
3. Is there a fixed timer per keep rank/stars, or is there also an internal check/probability after the keep becomes eligible for decay?

Any confirmation or correction would be very helpful, since I would like the addon to display useful and accurate information without misleading players.

It really is a pretty important tactic for the underpopulated side so I would think more information would be better. Maybe this is a mechanic that could be tied closer to AAO, the more AAO the fast the decay process or the slower the ranking process.

Ideally it really would center around BO ownership and control.
