That's fanastic, but i dont know anyone doing that, or know how to do that. There was no addon that I'm aware to automate pushing keybinds for you. Even nerf buttons required keybinds to be pushed, putting Nerf buttons on par with what Twista was doing.

If it's really so simple. grats, 9/10 tanks were not running around with automated scripts to twist twist for them. You can't stop all the nerds. There was even multiboxers in the game, it's hard to stop everything all the time.
I used a G15 keyboard macro to auto-twist. It was really that simple, and i knew other tanks that used it as well (or autohotkey).

The only thing i miss from the twisting mechanic was the animation you did every time you used a new aura.

it wasn't because of shattered limbs. It wasn't even because of balance.

Month 1, it was 1-2 hour queue times, crashing, then getting back into queue
Month 2, it was the release of WoW's 2nd expansion Wrath of the Litch King
Month 3, it was Searpent's passage. Destro had 55% population until tier 4, then WP cleansing power tactic (group cleanse free on direct heals), engi aoe fluff, 1 mill dmg in anihilator gear on top of bw's broken detonate destroying people, on top of ib's m3 gromril plating 6k group bubbles and 5 sec aoe kd cave wins (cave win is now BACK and UN NERFED for some reason) and rain of fire stacking and ticking for 1200 of your 6k wounds caused BW hate exodus
Month 4, zones could not be flipped. Players had to farm PQ's for victory points and began to hate broken RvR
Month 5, Players actually push fortresses, fort zones crash as zerg hits outer wall, every time.
Month 6, most servers are 3 warbands vs 1 warband and underdog realms lose hope, as small ass tiny zones, allow for premades to huntdown whats left of them, causing people to hate even leaving warcamps
Month 7+ bombs are fully dark promised gear, and fully destroying zergs and anything casual in the lakes

That's the gist of why the game died.

You cant stop people from running scripts. Hence why I say if anything can be automated via them its "bad game design" in PvP focused games.

I played knight on live, there was 2 auras you absolutely had to use. After that depending on your group comp you toss a 3rd one on. There was no epic moments where you where like "oh man let me twist THIS aura next its gonna be EPIC" there was 3 auras you used that where 99.9999% of the time going to be the best for that particular group comp you had. No skill or brainpower needed other than having the muscle memory of timing those 3 keys in intervals, there was no thinking on the fly or adjusting to a new situation.

If they made it so auras WERE something that needed brainpower/critical thinking and adapting to situation a script cannot automate that, a good player will always be better than someone running a script in that case... and that is GOOD game design for PvP game.

The AOE was way too powerful, and order had a ton of broken abilities. There was balance issues at the start, but much of it was ironed out. This game was great for years. It just had lost all of the population to see it.

When LOTD came out, there was broken issues all over again with tyrant gear. But it wasn't balance issues. It was broken mechanics such as haste stacking with slayer tactic and talismans, and also casters heirophants grace was stacking and was too OP. Beyond those fixes, game was great.

uh any keyboard worth more then 10 bucks can do it for you. no need for ahk. g12,g15,g19 all come with automated keypress. its simple too ^^

They said that all auras were situation and you need to change the aura based on the situation that was hardly the case there are only like 3-4 maybe 5 viable auras at most theat were ever useful and so macros could pretty much cover you

espically if you ran 2 kotbs grps then you could cover all the auras and not have to worry about anything

Im generally with Mez on the fact things should stay how they were but in some cases certain skills could do with tweaking to bring better balance and shatter limbs would be a skill that needs tweaking, be it a cap on players it can hit or an increase in the cooldown.
I would also tweak wp and dok( as we all know they are the strongest healer in every department) group cleanse tactic by doubling the cooldown with the tactic slotted.

Edit- also let me add if things stayed exactly the same to how it was on live i would have no trouble with that, but we have to be realistic that balance issues do exist.

You've never activated strength debuff if a WE pops up on your healer, or a melee train busts through and you are chasing them into your back line?

So all classes are viable? All abilites/tactics are useful? All mastery trees well designed?

I know some blorcs, sms and wls who would disagree with you
