Made today a test on full Willpower Engineer Build:
Only gun and Hammer remains at the moment as they are.
Well and the Hardhat with the +18 Jewel.
Keg Healing goes up to 286 every three secs from 259.
Gunblast has dropped a lot from over 500 at full BS to currently 396.
Link here
I have five slotted WP +10 jewels which couldnt be seen on the armory link.
So that can be pushed a little further.

Re: [Build] Engineer
Intresting! I have hit 26 and added all in Path of the Rifleman so I can get snipe and the extra dot which triggers at using snipe and gunblast. With onlyr +8 and one +10 ballistics talisman aviable to me at this moment i have snipe in the 800ish range and snipe around 500ish somewhere so that could use some finetuning by getting +25 ballistics jewlery and better talismans. I'll add exact numbers in when i get home!Glorian wrote:Made today a test on full Willpower Engineer Build:

Hi! Interesting post...what about granadier engineers, the main attribute should be ballistic aswell? How are they compare to rifleman?
Cheers!
Cheers!
Re: [Build] Engineer
Grenadiers are very good aoe/splash dps - yes spec ballistic
Does anyone slot WS in their builds, I increased mine at 26 but was wondering if I should just continue to stack Balli, with Toughness/Wounds and some WP for keg healing

Re: [Build] Engineer
With the access of renown points I have upgraded my healing Engineer Even further.
http://waronlinebuilder.org/#renown;030 ... 0000000000
Good extra wounds and increased WP.
Healing Keg is at 299 health per tic. Health at 4600.
And that is quite usefull in most SCs where we have to fight with only one fulltime healer. The extra health helps to get out some extra shotgun shots.
On jewels im stuck on TO plus WP. while WP plus W would suit me more.
So where is your gunblast now with full BS on gear and renown?

Re: [Build] Engineer
A little thread Necromancy .
My engi hit lvl 31. RR40 already.
Renown spec:
http://waronlinebuilder.org/#renown;040 ... 0000000000
Currently messed up and in Need of respeccing. Most likely wounds/willpower.
Mastery:
http://waronlinebuilder.org/#career=eng ... :;;0:0:0:0:
Slotted jewels and talismans are willpower, wounds, Toughness.
Damage output is therefore suboptimal, but healing in a siege is much accepted.
Solo grinding, or getting rr 40 is with the keg no Real effort.
So here's my question. How is your lvl 31 engi build.
Especially since SNIPE is buffed.

Re: [Build] Engineer
So I'm currently torn between Grenadier and Tinker spec.
Tinker seems cool with all the gadgets, but at >40 range does it do more damage with trench fighter specced than a grenadier?
I know it's probably more useful for the pull, but Grenadier's area denial seems fun.
Do they both stack the same stats? I'd quite like to try both without spending shitloads on gear.

Both Greandier and Tinkerer basically use the same stats.Earthpac wrote:So I'm currently torn between Grenadier and Tinker spec.

Balistik Skill and Wounds all the way.
Maybe some Weapon Skill for the Tinkerer as Blunderbuss and Mines are normal damage.
But damage dealing wise there is nothing more AOE damaging than a grenadier.
Increased range of the grenades, and increased area of Acid and Fragmentation Grenade are a real blast.
And the good old corporeal Firebomb is the best per second single Damage the Grenadier has.

Re: [Build] Engineer
After 21 I really recommend handcrafted scope as a tactic. If you generally within 90-100 feet, you will get a bit better dps out of it then hollow points. It is a nice tactic. If you time your rotations out using GB / snipe / CS followed by a HS the auto attack will proc at the same time as HS, and that gives a bit more spike. You also save a point you can use elsewhere.
Mine should be corp damage.
From live WS didn't contribute much at all to blunderbuss, I haven't test in RoR though.
Keep in mind though AoE dots are good for damage numbers, and killing unhealed targets, but it is easy for a competent healer to heal through the damage.
It is good to have a little spike, and lightning rod / friction burn do a good job for that. Doing split grenade / tinker spec's are not bad. You dot up from range and then push in for an M2 with LR. If you add in a detonate turret it is good spike. A hit and run style.
Some of my favorite specs personally are snipe / LR and strafing run / LR. The play styles are a bit different and it's run. I wish it was T4 I love doing snipe / strafing run. The AoE KB is nice and it does good damage. You can use both offensively for clearing enemies, or defensively for saving healers from melee. Great but under rated skill. Works better in RoR then live.
