Does anyone have any leveling tips or tricks?

I see a lot of people leveling using a lot of different methods.

I only recently started playing here, Ive leveled a few characters to around rank 8 and one to rank 12. Its taken quite a few hours as Ive only been farming Scenarios during this time.

Ive noticed a lot of exp farming groups in the Advice chat and a lot of people using terms Ive never heard before, so could anyone explain a few of the faster ways to level? I already did 1-40 once mainly on scenarios, I don't feel like ever doing that again.

Also, on a completely different note, what is that low level cloak everyone is running around with and where do I get mine?!

Oh, and on another different note, what is with all the hostility to questions in game? People just seem to believe everyone playing on this server has been playing from release until the fall of the game and knows it in and out.

Cloak you can get in Auction house but I don't feel its really worth it. It'll cost you around 1g+ Best way to level is actually farming or doing quests with SC's where you kill 15 or 25 players, there's 2 quests which you can do over and over, they give good money and decent exp.

I was wondering specifically about the cloak everyone seems to be wearing. I haven't had a chance to inspect anyone with it, but I have seen soooo many people wearing an identical cloak, and its not just a plain one either.

I think it depends on which side u on and class u are. One week ago destruction lost every T1 Sc out there so SC farming was kinda unproductive.

If u play some heal class u can go with SCs because u get much more EP / Renowm compared to other careers no matter u win or loose. (use all T1 quests avaible 2 for each race.. at lvl 8 u can also start doing T2 quests (again each race has 2))

If u loose most of the SCs u should looking for farming partys - it really sucks but just get it done if u want to hit maxlevel soon

It feels like the leveling options for the new Return of Reckoning are more limited than the original full version, which makes sense.

Capturing RvR Objectives (BOs and Keeps) yield the most experience points. SC yield somewhat less but can be a good source of experience points. In Tier 1 this can be hit or miss depending how many people are logged in to your realm vs the other realm.

The power leveling groups you are seeing in Advice Chat are a decent fallback. The best thing to do is join a guild and ask your guild mates for help. You will find those people much more friendly and hopefully willing to help.

The cloak. It is a random drop (I don't know of any quest that has a cloak as a reward but could be wrong). Take your highest level character- go to the lower level chapter Public Quests and farming gear. You might get one, you might not.

If you want exp really fast i can gave you some advice. First SC's + quest. You've to take when you can t2 quest's. I take empire quest ( 15 kills, 25 kills then 150 kill when you've the level for ) and i take elf quest ( 15 kills, 25 kills). You're going to exp fast and to make lot's of gold.

For finish my level up, i find a party for exp on t2 rat. Really easy and really efficient

sc+ farm mobs at your level by your self at the rats in t2 got 800 in a grup of 4 go to the yetis get 1000-1600 per kill doing it solo and can do it faster then rats

i think the cloak you mean is the event cloak. the quest for it beginns in altdorf near the flight master.
