Chosen guides?
Just wondering if there are any good chosen guides out there. Just started playing one and I know the basics but wanted to learn more. Thanks

Re: Chosen guides?
Most likely I will be looking for a defensive build tank. S&B. Not really sure beyond that. I'm not looking to do much dpsing as I've never been great at mdps.

Re: Chosen guides?
Well going defensive is the way to go for lower tiers I think. I would recommend going down path of Corruption and taking Mixed defenses *tactic* and Downfall which is the 3 second knockdown ability. As far as playstyle, you want to be switching your guard around to whoever is being focused in your party. Challenge as many enemies as you can. Snare and repel *knockback* enemy DPS who are overwhelming your healer or anyone in your party really. Knockdown for the same effect. Gives your party some breathing room. Have your auras up and stay close to your team. An over extended tank is a bad tank. Knockdown, sever blessing, blast wave, taunt and ravage when you are focusing someone down with your DPS use according to the situation. Withering blow takes away AP which could mean less DPS or less heals. You want to be as annoying as possible. Hope this helps.
Have the Toughness/Strenght/Resistance auras

Pretty much this ^^. Also, your limited to the level cap and gear. Stack toughness talismans on all your gear and wear a shield. Spend your RR points on parry then block. You will already have high parry due to abilities and tactic so stacking even more will help you when your guarding.

What Euan said, but I would spend all RR like this
With Mixed Defences - every block boosts your chance to parry by 25% for 5s, if the duration were longer I'd agree it's worth loading parry first with renown - but as it is, worth getting block to nearer 50% first
With Suppression you have 25% more parry
Thus RR = 20pts in Block, 10pts in Parry
so you'll get ~23% block from ~230 block rating (vs other L26 players), +10% from renown (~33% chance to block overall)
Assuming you do block and use suppression on cooldown, you'll be running with 60% parry too
Then sit back and marvel at how some Rampage/Flurry spamming slayer ignores it all
Then pop M1 Shield Wall for guaranteed 100% Block - only to find Rampage > Morale (definitely not the case in Live - Morale always trumped abilities)
*pray that they adjust Rampage to affect only the current target and not everyone
