Best Tank for me? Order and Destro

Looking forward to T3 coming out soon, what are some pros and cons to the tanks on both order and destro? I'm leaning away from playing a Kotbs or Chosen because they seem so vastly overpopulated already, but do the other tanks really compare or bring enough to the table? Part of me wants to roll a BG or SM just because they are the least played. What's everyone opinions from experiences you have?

Now, regarding my experience, recently I played a Black Orc to rank 10 and then started a Black Guard which is now rank 10. Yes, this is limited experience, but the overall feel of the Black Guard was just more tanky and more suited to what I had in mind, an ultimate damage sponge. From what I hear, Black Orc is a bit less tanky in the big picture, but does more damage, particularly when using a two-hander. I really did want to level the Black Orc, but after getting a feel for the mitigation power of the BG, I kind of got hooked on that. Someone with more experience might be able to tell you otherwise, and I'd love to hear that with the right build a BO can get on equal straight tanking footing with the BG, but so far I have heard nobody say that, and that kind of swayed my opinion to continue with the BG.

I am not going to talk about Chosen or Kotbs, because as you said, they are indeed overpopulated. BG and IB are right up there though, and both are very solid tanks. Sword Master I know nothing about, but I do know my brother leveled one to end game on live and eventually stopped playing it entirely, but a lot has changed since then. So who knows?

Ironbreakers / Black Guards are really tanky, however, with a two-hander and taunt, they can put out a surprising amount of pain. Can take out squishies quite effectively.

Regardless, if you don't want straight tanky, I think you do actually want to go Black Orc or Swordmaster. With a two-hander they can still take a good beating, but they can dish out the most damage of the tanks.

I'll probably end up going SM just to be different. I can still make him tanky enough for oRvR keep takes and do some 2handering when I'm bored.

I think that is a good choice. I don't see enough SM / BO's. Good that you are going to try something that goes against majority, I am confident that both of these tanks can shine in the right hands.

Chosens / KotBs are overpopulated not only because they are actually good but also because of how their Auras currently work. They don't lose 1 GCD per 6 secs if they want to maintain 3 auras active, which allows them to use more CC.
