The level 12 hole is a real thing and a source of abiding misery for everyone who leaves t1 feeling like they are worth something only to face the long uphill climb through despair and seething rage into the 20s. But don't let me generalize. There may be any number of people who enjoy the challenge of doing no damage, healing for nothing and getting insta-killed in every engagement.

If we can't get bolster to provide any salve at all to this then we should at least get past it quickly.

To the OP, I feel like the devs got the approximation of leveling basically in the ballpark if you include the parking lot and surrounding blocks. But there is the reality of development time and cycles. The devs only have some much focus to go around and some things will not get top billing. For many things like class balance, leveling, itemization and other things will have to be “good enough is good enough” until its time can come around.

Pointing out that you think there is a problem is a good thing in my opinion. But the devs can only dev so fast and there is a lot of deving to do.

That's path of the Hero, you are humiliated and stomped upon, you lick your wounds and remember the names of your foes. You level up, you learn, you make friends, you become stronger and sometimes even smarter. You get to the top and destroy them utterly. Then you farm their alts, humiliate and stomp upon them... Then the new content arrives to challenge you and your abilities.
MMO is a simulation of life. Life is not only about happiness unless you accept every moment of it as happiness.

In before "But I came here to have fun 100 % of my precious time!" => MMO is not for you then as you do not find fun in levelling, improving and stupidly grinding (if you feel need to do so), there are tons of other games and activities, where you can have fun non-stop. As OP have mentioned: try GW2 sPvP if you seek equality.

TL;DR: that's normal MMO progression, being nothing and being everything, then once again being nothing. Enjoy it.

why is it that we get all this screaming out for an easy/quick ride to the top?

is it the i want something for nothing generation that have no value in any thing cos there never worked to get it living out of there dad's pockets or the governments and any sort of time spent doing something they don't want to do makes them cry

as we saw in live the bort accounts the epic rr100s ezer to kill then a sub rr40 and the power leveled players

time spent building/playing a class from the ground up will make u a 10x better player then skipping to the top

also devs might still need the input from leveling and playing class at all levels to get all the bugs

With respect I must disagree. This game has no real PVE aspect, no real Pqs, no application of most of the game outside the RVR and PVP elements. It seems that this game is much more about skill and focus than some estimation of life itself. You really have no recourse but to sharpen yourself on other players.

But there is no learning or getting stronger by your own will. Max tier levels simply destroy lower levels because they started first and that's it. You are forced into the fire and just happen to level up because you keep showing up and there is really nothing you can contribute entering the tier.

And it is all just made up.

If bolster made my baseline as good as yours then it would be a matter of which buttons do you push in what order, how is your positioning, how is your team play, skill would be a factor.

As it is, max tier levels get some percentage of a free ride, no skill required. Tier entrants are simply useless beyond their witty chat banter and snappy repartee. And someone arbitrarily decided it would be that way.

It literally takes like two days of playing scs to even reach 2x... Not a big deal, really. You can kill mobs in the meantime. As a matter of fact on my new alt I'm concerned he levels too fast through scs and kill quests and stopped doing the latter, since I wanna stay in tier 1.5 for a while.

Take your chance and learn to play your class on the way to max lvl. Since we have sc brackets no one has to fight highly uneven fights.
