This is not a professional endeavor with some slick community management wall between your comments and the demonstrably volatile sensibilities of the development team. This is some guys who are working on a thing that you get to be a part of.
And if you have never been on the receiving end of one of these Aza outbursts, well welcome to that too because this is what he does. I'm not judging and certainly not saying he is wrong. But if you plan to take the devs to task, then get ready to intelligently brawl because Aza comes out swinging, quite clearly.
For the record, he has apologized for crossing the line - as he judged it - before so its not like he is truly mad with power. In fact, he did tell you the very real reason this was done.
And he isn't going to let anyone else risk that either. I mean, if it was put to you, would you choose to toss the whole thing over a mount? Certainly you would not. So maybe don't put the devs in so tough a place. They don't really own this but you are benefiting from it. So perhaps play nice, even in the forums.Azarael wrote:I'm not going to risk the wrath of a company which is known to care a lot about how its IP is portrayed over a trivial thing like mounts.
Bit of a threat there? Dirty pool, old man. I think that if you catch a ban then stop posting. But if you are able to post then you should do so. Share those thoughts and ideas. That's what the word “forum” means.Azarael wrote:@nodsavage: You have no idea what the hell you're talking about and should stop posting.
But do lets work together.
P.S. - For the sake of completeness...
