Lost all items

Hey guys, sorry if this is misplaced, I originally posted this in Game Support section but I figured I would place it here also in the event anyone else with similar experience new a fix. I will sum up the original post has briefly as possible

Playing fine; patch; lost all items; considered "dead" in-game; Rezzed still have no items; Stats and abilities work as if I had armor; relogged; back to "dead" state.

I have heard from other posts it is an issue with my connection of sum sorts to the games DB. Not sure what I could do to fix that issue besides completely resetting my entire network (which I did to no avail).

Shameless bump cause I'd like to play but can't. Anything would be nice. Even a you just have to wait, that way i know to stop trying stuff. Guess I'll just wait any ways .

Never witness that myself or a guildmate affected by it either. Since it happens only to you (judging by the fact there have been no other mention of it), I'll just guessed that you'll need some help from someone who either experienced the issue (dead state on loging and reloging staying), or a GM somehow. Maybe a command may help you.

About your stuff I guess you're screwed since it happened to you only as far as we know. Since they can't (or don't want to, I don't remember) give back lost items, unless it is a patching issue affecting the whole server.

Afaik this is a very rare problem (people loose items sometimes, but they are normally back after a server restart). The "perma dead/all items lost" issue is different as it seems.

The problem with item refunds is very simple: They can't do it, because at this time there is no way to tell what items you had in your inventory. It's not like they don't want to do it.

As you wrote in that other thread, you items still seem to be here (all stats normal), only the item slots are empty. So i guess someone has to manually fix your char in the DB.

As Luth stated, lost items usually return on a server restart. If that is not the case, I'm afraid the items will be lost for good. No lost items have been returned to a player by a GM to this day.

Never expirienced on any of my tons before(T1) or any of my destro tons in T2. Have You lost all of Your items including items stored in backpack(Gold, craft, etc) or just items on Your self? Check if You are not in apperance mode on Your char window

The problem with item refunds is very simple: They can't do it, because at this time there is no way to tell what items you had in your inventory. It's not like they don't want to do it.

+ People have manipulated Devs in the past claiming they had X amount of gold or specific items, then they were either sent or restored a specific amount of items when they already had no items of such before.

I have however lost items and gold many times before, but thing is, this is Alpha and you have to suck it up and accept it.

Thanks for all the responses. I have lost everything on the character except gold thankfully. It is especially frustrating because I was only 10 emblems away from my first 3rd rank or whatever it is called scenario weapon (1h or shield) and since my schedule forces me to be rather casual it will take me a while to regain them. I also had grinded out tons of pq's for influence rewards for cool alternate appearance armors (like the chosen helm that looks like a marauder helm from chaos ch 8 I believe it was).

To the suck it up comment because it is alpha. I am very well aware GM's don't refund items because greedy people abusing the system and I that **** happens and you just move on. However, typically when you have put a lot of time and effort into something to have it undone you spend a moment trying to troubleshoot the problem to see if it can be easily resolved.

While not having items sucks, and I am aware I can replace them all since a lot of the gear was the typical renown gear you can buy, the issue is the dead state. The state of constantly being "dead" has made it so that this character is unplayable now. Unless I get a rez (which does not always resolve the issue) I am permanently "dead" and cant do anything. And even if I am rezzed, if I die again (which its WAR come on it happens all the time), change zones, or log off, I go back to the "dead" state. So essentially this error has made my main and favorite character completely unplayable.

Also I cannot even purchase new gear if I wanted now. The vendors gladly take my money but in return I receive nothing. Also, if I receive gear or any items from killing a mob if I log out I loose that item and cannot access it again.
