Land of the Dead the good & the bad

Hey, Everyone

I've been cleaning up the Land of the Dead map. The Good News is most of the model data has been entered, and most of the npc's are fully geared up and looking good again. Cleaned up the clustered areas of npcs. Set the levels between 35-45, neutrals, champs, lords etc. Now the bad news, Was trying to figure away around the .npc come command, and cleaned up the camps to try and get them to spawn in the proper spots. Well, that failed. They still appear on the mountain tops east of the camps, sometimes inside the mountains. So I went out and tried to place the hostile monsters in good spots to make it look good again. I had no luck with that either they kept appearing east of the actual .npc spawn command where I was standing. The only I can think of if we had map editor to repaint the areas (walkable unplayable etc), but that is something we don't have. I am not sure about solution on this, if anyone has ideas I am open. Even messing around with Troll Country has similar issues of spawning as well, not as bad as Land of the Dead. I'll post more as I push forward.

Cheers

I'll check it out. I am in the Southwestern US, so I'll stop and check it out when you are up. Going to clean up Caledor so far not many issues with spawning there. The nice thing about those tiers you can ride straight to the forts so of course that means cleaning up the mess all the way through. I'll put Land of the Dead on hold until we can figure out the clipping & collision issues.

Cheers

Don't worry about the zones being pounded out too fast, it's a pain in the neck to put clothes on all the missing models. Plus some of the zones are missing them completely I am going to have to hit old war databases to put the right people for the chapters. So far Land of the dead is pretty well cleaned up. We need to figure out how to get the spawn areas right without the .npc come command. We might be stuck using that. If we are the developers are going to need a .noclip & flight function to make it easier then speed 1000 and hope to glitch into something :-p BTW I haven't started doing the Quests or PQ's :-p Alright I'll check in later
