why o why is every warhammer franchise mmo destined to fail from the get go? Warhammer online had crappy development (not now ) but this new 40k mmo looks like money grabbing fat cats controlling it.

You can buy the game for $40 US. The rest of the 'Founders Packs' merely give you bonus ingame currency used for the Rogue Trader store - a store where you can unlock special classes, skins and stuff like that.

No subscription is a bonus for those that prefer cost over (theoretical) quality

Actually the game itself is still 1-2 years away, this current stuff is more like a crowdfunding initative apparently.

God I wanna play it but the fact that they are making it more and more pay to win pisses me off so much.
I understand what they are doing but they are just creating a power gap between the free to play people, the subs and those who spurge on the item store.
