Can someone sum this server up?

Greetings people.

Just found this awesome project while in a bout of nostalgia about the olden golden days of MMOs and when PvP was fun. While excitement currently is getting to my head, I would like to ask you veterans here for some information.

I am sorry if this has been asked somewhere else but I couldn't find a similar thread anywhere.

Could someone sum up the differences between this server and WAR Live?
Personally I can live without Land of the Dead and other PvE things but as it is with private servers, there are some concerns.

How well does it work? Do we have all the abilities? Lag? Is it broken but enjoyable?
Balance issues? Active Realm Wars, Scenarios, that kind of thing.

I am hoping to call up my entire old guild and get to PvPing right away so, looking forward to positive responses.

This server goes up to Tier 3 (so no Praag, Caledor, Thunder Mountain yet).

Level cap is 31 renown rank 40.

Several Scenarios are still not implemented.

The RvR system is different from live (need 2 BOs to attack a keep; no resource carriers).

PQs don't work.

Dungeons don't work.

Some quests don't work.

Other than that, everything else works very well and we are all having a BLAST playing RoR.

Yea dude.. you log on and pvp.. and the biggest difference is the fifteen bux a month you save. Its effin awesome. Small different things but you can adjust and move on. Was super skeptical when I staryed knowing it would suck. Nope... pretty spot on. Great support as well.

Man, it does sound great. If the game runs fine without breaking or lag and we can PvP our hearts out, level cap and such doesn't matter much!

Next step is going online and checking it out myself I suppose!

They up level caps every few months so far. T4 is next so I would plan on bein here a while. T2 to t3 was about five or six months.. but it was a full release instead of a rolling one. Call your news team... get lvling.. and kill people.

Near future, no. We just released T3 in November and have been working on ironing out issues that persist.

Long term plans are for R40/RR80 with fortress and city battles (no LotD). Dungeons and PQ's require all of the custom scripting to be re-done from scratch, so they're on a longer time-table. If you're interested in seeing the world being rebuilt one piece at a time, our developers are very active.

I have played since t1 and max level was 10... I've played off and on. The times I have played I have really enjoyed myself on the game, it's a little buggy every once in awhile, but it is still very enjoyable. The pvp is pretty good and the lag is decent most the time. You get use to it.

When lag gets bad.. we all whine and cry and the devs do a restart. That usually fixes it.

And when we can't log in due to lag, we all come in here and do some forumPVP. That's when the real fun starts.
