I think, you forgot that u will earn exp and renown only in 300-400ft range (appr. of course), and when I have control over WB, I see who afk, in other region or simply off.. I'm silent about such things like wb mixing (heals/tanks/dds), which I've seen 2 or three times before in sheep crowd.

Ehhhh don't quite understand, but what I meant was that if you Log Out "in the middle of ORVR away from BO's and Keeps" I remember not getting rested...I believe.

On the original server if you logged out in range of a BO/keep you were automatically ported to the pvp warcamp.

Someone please correct me if I am wrong about this, but I kind of remember zone rewards being this way.

On Live, if you participated in RVR and taking a keep, you were able to earn up to 10 Medallions per zone take.

- 5 for capturing the zone
- 1 for each BO you were able to participate in capturing
- 1 for taking the keep
- Would also receive an exp/renown/influence bonus for each objective taken. The BOs would be the same amount and the keep would be more.

If you were in the zone and on the losing side, I believe you got a certain number of medallions as well, maybe 3?

There were always issues with this. What happened if you were disconnected? (You usually missed out on these rewards) If you were to leave the zone and comeback, sometimes it would reset and you would miss out on these.

You are not wrong for remembering something along those lines, I know that participating in a keep take rewarded medallions as well, with rewards scaling on contribution/loot roll. This however rewarded flipping empty zones, the hardest aspect of balancing RvR is getting people to PvP rather than PvE.

You can't treat all Live mechanics the same on RoR. In this case, RoR players have the freedom to switch from Order to Destro and back to Order without any restrictions. X-realming is a big problem that the player base themselves are causing and so force the devs to find creative ways to deal with the issue. The problem we get though is that those who only play one Realm, like myself, are punished for doing so.

I don't need to remind everyone of the devastator wipe caused by Order X-realmers playing their Destro alts. A lot of loyal Destro players got screwed from that and a change to keeps and zone locking was made to deal with medallion farming by x=realmers. :/

Per Agrot, we cannot use the live mechanics. When we did, players rapidly realized it was better to zerg empty keeps than it was to fight.

I really like the new medallion quest and from a healer perspective I don't think its too much at all. Its very common for me to run SCs in a group for 4-5 hours and only come out of it with 2-3 medallions for the whole night, all the while turning in the 150 kill quest multiple times, so lack of kills are not the issue.

The only problem I notice right now with it is race population is not split into thirds, Dwarf hit 50 kills for me first, shortly after Empire hit 50, yet Elf is only at 23. Would it be possible to break them into three different quests, or adjust the kills needed based on race population?

I logged off near a bo, away from a bo, and on a bo in t1. Still getting rested xp bonus :(


Edit: Azarael, can you tweak the influence gain from t1-t2? Some of us prefer to fill up all of our influence :> please?
