Dear NA players!
Try to advertising our favourite mmo on NA gamewebsites, take videos and posting. We need more propaganda
More advertising = More players!
Been waiting since page one to see this ^^^^.

When any company/personal business wants/needs to increase membership/sales/hits/clicks/retention (at least the ones that create the desired outcome) they go back to "square one": invest in a MASSIVE advertising campaign toward their target audience using marketing firms/data mining companies to show them where, when, how and to whom the tsunami of advertising should be targeted to create the desired outcome.

I've begged, pitifully, my guild leader, who was VERY active in live, to please come back. Twice he's promised he'd do so, then irl gets a hold of him (as well as a GF that probably doesn't believe video games "make the man"; just my assumption) and I've not heard from him since February of this year. Aside from the odd guildie now and then, I'm the only one who logs in... to play. Most log in to /gquit and head to a more active guild. Which LoL was, at the beginning, all due to Joker's advertising: asking for prospective members to join. And he was/is good at it, but there has to be a concerted effort invested from not just one person.

That sad little story to illustrate if more bodies is what will cure this ill, there has to be a massive advertising campaign ASKING for just that. I believed just punching out videos of RoR footage would get the "holy ****! We can play W.A.R. again, call the mates..." etc. reaction and vets would flood back. Not so, even though that's how it worked for me. I've even had close mates just simply not come back after tier 1 or 2, which for me is demoralizing as hell, or worse create drama where any isn't then excuse themselves on that note for "greener pastures". I'm flat burned out on trying to sell vets and newbs on what an incredible game this is. I know it. Those that still play know it, although some tend to "de-advertise" RoR while complaining.

Which brings me to this last note: IF there is to be a movement towards advertising on a massive scale (the size where those advertising feel uncomfortable and maybe overwhelmed that many may actually respond, which is when you know you're aiming for the right number) then there must be an even greater commitment to ZERO NEGATIVITY from ANY of those who undertake this task. You have to be so "pro-RoR", so disgustingly positive, so syrupy sweet that you make a fresh ice cream sundae look like dog **** and smell like a week old beached whale. Either that or abide by the green text in my sig.
