As it is though, WL and Slayer both have Charge, WL has pounce, both have medium armor, both have much better cleave/aoe capability, etc. Witch hunters have limited time stealth that drains AP, torment, and BAL or EW. Advantage WL/Slayer.

I'd wait until the class balancing starts before getting serious about a WH.
Torment ignores all armor on attacks from the rear, and seal of distruction allows you to ignore 50% of armor for a duration

4K armor is not a legitimate concern for WH's

That was his point. The 4k armor isn't an issue for the WH, but that it would bring Slayer/WL more in line because of the WH's ability to deal with said armor.

But I never understand the complaint about lack of closer on WH... Stealth is awesome. And with AP pots or a friendly Knight Aura Flee does work... Stealth Draining AP has always been irritating however...

WHs are fun. Completely different playstyle than WL which in turn are a completely different style to Slayer. That's the point.

That was the point. WH has more ways to get around armor than WL and Slayer. At the current gear level, only tanks can get as high as 4k (although full armor stacking medium armor comes close.) When you start seeing that become the norm, however, WH will have a significant damage advantage until WL/Slayer can get enough WS from gear without sacrificing other stats.

I don't know about other Witch Hunters but tanks and other melee dps for that matter are at the bottom of my target priority list so high armor isn't usually an issue.

Like mentioned before WH, WL, and slayers are all the same "role" but different play styles .

Witch hunter is best looking class in game for sure, and i am a destruction player but always wanted to try one, maybe when the server comes up.
Now i only need hands for play one, because i am really bad with rogue classes.

to be maximum effectiveness on a WL you need to stack WS to approx 500 unbuffed, rest into str (should be able to get 850+900 unbuffed). with FO i hit people for 900 sundering chop, 1100 if forced oppurtunity and primal fury are up; CTW i hit

WL does some crazy burst dps and is fairly survivable, but I find my WH to be much more survivable while having just as much (if not more) dps.
