[WH]: is crit pointless?

WH/WE are one of the most gear dependent classes in the entire game, the lack mobility and defenses and are very easy to control because of this. The only time you will ever have enough dmg to kill a healer by yourself is if you are running the 50% armor ignore relic/elixir in your spec, and that means no 100% dis/or charge and this is only up once a minute. WH is probably also on the bottom of the tier list for MDPS in all aspects of the game besides solo roaming (and there are rdps that do this better tbh), WE is a bit better because of the utility destro tanks can bring, and things like DPS DoK (we/wh are very squish the extra healing dps dok brings helps) and mara having way more utility than WL allowing for a class like this to actually fit into a group since it brings virtually no unique utility at all.

idk about your crit problems, even with almost no +% crit you should be getting some maybe you are just incredibly unlucky. As far as crit as a stat its 100% absolutely mandatory for every single dps class no exceptions because burst is king, because healing and damage mitigation and defenses are 5x easier to come by in this game. drip fed damage over time just gets drowned out in group heals/hots. Crit has also been nerfed on this server a bit, although thank the GODS we dont have -% crit damage RR training (unless it was added back in when i was away).

WH is also a 200% crit damage class, meaning crit is 2x more valuable on paper for you. That crit damage tactic is far and away the most valuable tactic in the entire game probably. If you even need any confirmation the GS racial tactic which is 25% instead of 50% is also concidered extremely good, and its literally half as effective as the 50% one mdps get.
