I'm pretty sure people just break the 65 feet range; the server checks for legit range even after the cast started afaik.

Jumping around on live used to sometime make it miss the pull. Havent seen it work here but I still do it out of habit.

you could avoid the pull by jumping on live. all you had to do was to jump when the marauder was at the end of his cast and about to pull. anyways it was an exploit and here it doesn't work. we tested it.

i remember back on live using strafe to avoid maras pull, not sure if works like that in RoR

We need to ask aza on how he implemented the LoS checks for this specific spell. Generally the server uses 2 checks for LoS one at the start of the spell and the second one i think was 50% of the spellcast and not at the end. TE respects both and you can avoid getting fetched by breaking LOS perfectly fine. got fixed though
However strafe kiting whether helped on live nor does it here. the only thing you could abuse on live against both classes (WL & Mrd) was jumping.

ATM TE won't break charge so if you charge pull and kite away you will massively extend its range.
