Can't get in game after I connect

I can login into the game and both of the green squares are green and i will be able to connect.
the game says, shaking hands, logging in, alliances, etc. and then the screen goes black with the box that says all of the logging in stuff. this happened after i tried to create a character with the name azmodeus. i was in coms with the guy who had the name and he deleted him toon with the name so i could use it and after i tried t crate the character, the game crashed and now i can't get back in.

tried to contact a dev and he was helping and now he isn't talking to me anymore

We do not have extensive character-specific support, and we never have, nor will we for quite a long time. Any help you get from a staff member is a roll of the dice. Something weird is going on and this problem is coming up more often, so eventually someone might look into fixing the ROOT cause, but your specific character is not a high concern.

All the troubleshooting steps you can find on the forums are going to be the same thing any staff member is going to re-hash for you. Search around, try stuff, and hope it's fixed on our end (if there's something to fix), because complaining about it certainly doesn't endear anyone to you further.

I have had this problem before. It was on my end, and I fixed it, then I noted down all the things that caused it which was later added to the technical sticky. I wasn't always a GM.
